no matter what strange plan seraya cooked up, more often than not, it involved bambi kept out of the action until absolutely necessary. being kept out of action was her entire job description — so no doubt, the two of them would end up together. used to be more of an annoyance way back when. now, it was routine. 

dayna threw a quick glance in the direction of her screen. all five security cameras were in the process of being rerouted. plenty of time to chat, and she found that this was the one respite she got from her work in the van.

“ you’re bored, ” she stated. “ you’re dangerous when you’re bored. ” the progress on the cameras was slow. therefore, she felt she could take a risk. 

                          “ wanna see the guard’s search history ? ”

“so, so, super bored.” the blonde dons a pout as she pops up next to the other, resting her chin on dayna’s shoulder for just a moment before she’s back to wandering the van aimlessly. the tom ford gown she’d picked out for the evening was looking more tommy hilfiger by the second as she tugged and pulled at the threads. bambi was four seconds from blowing the whole thing just for something to do.

“yes!” her entire face brightens at the suggestion, and she’s seated at her side almost immediately. bouncing in her chair as if that might hurry things along. “bet he’s got a secret collecting hobby. something weird.”

“maxy!” the blonde invites herself in, all full of sunshine smiles even at this hour. she throws her arms around her unsuspecting victim and pulls her into a hug. surprisingly bone-crushing for someone who’d never so much as lifted a finger before. bambi laughs then as she pulls away, the sound so melodic you might have thought she was in the midst of a disneyworld audition. “no silly. not tonight!” she glances around as she unwraps the baby blue pashmina from her neck, something that had offered her zero warmth on the walk over. but emergency called for drastic measures.

“there’s a man in my room, so i have no where to sleep tonight. thought it would be super fun to have a sleepover!”

     the words were barely louder than a grumble but that was as much as the petite redhead could muster as she treaded slowly towards the door. maybe she should have thought to grab her gun, her knife, anything to use for protection just in case. it was new york fuckin’ city, after all ; no one knocked on the door at this time for a good reason. but blame the fact that she’d finally passed out only a hour prior because max definitely wasn’t thinking about that shit. tugging on the over-sized holey t-shirt that barely skimmed her knees, she ran her fingers through her wild tresses as she pulled the door open. the sight that awaited her immediately turned her sleepiness into utter intrigue. ‘ – if this is a booty call, then i absolutely accept. ’
