Another nameless OC design for practicing.

Based on a quickie I made right after I opened this blog. Never really liked how that drawing resulted, though.

Dream cats.

A rather unusual sketch.

I don't tend to draw animals (as I suck on doing that, even cartoony ones, and I know this sketch is rather trash) but yesterday I had this weird dream about having two other cats besides the one I already have IRL (on the left).

I figured out I should quickly draw them, just to not forget how they looked like, as this was the first good dream I had in so long.

Seriously, my dreams haven't been forgiving lately.

Growing up is when you can make an OC that's not just another carbon copy of yourself.

Guess that's why I don't have any OCs nowadays.

I don't see any problems with people drawing their sonas in a rather idealized way (independent of the fact that I'm "guilty" of that myself).

It's something you draw to use in fiction, or just as a simple online avatar, and most likely comes with a defined art style attached to it.

If artists wanted to show themselves exactly as they are, they'd just doxx themselves with a selfie at that point (or get in trouble so someone else does them the "favor" lol).

Kinda feels like shit barely having anyone to share your special interests with. And no, trying to fit with random people isn't the same, I'm not 15 anymore, haha...
