This is the prototype for the enamel pin I’m making for RAW: Cusp at the Minneapolis Pourhouse on January 18th! Anyone who preorders a ticket under my name will receive this pin for free!

The pin will be 3cm, made with hard enamel, and have gold plating on all the black areas. Please save your receipt and email it to me so I know who should get a pin either at the show or via snail mail post-show.

oh wow may i ask how do u make your enamel pins?

I have another friend who’s an artist and she recommended me the manufacturer she uses. I am also part of a private pin community group on facebook and there is a list of manufacturers and reviews of how good their communication was, how many flawed pins they got, ect. some artists don’t like to disclose what manufacturers they use. i get mine from a particular company that was found on alibaba. if you come off anon i can give you links to their storefront, an email that you can use to order directly, and tips for your first pin order.

Let me take a hot second to talk

I have 14 pages done and today is the 20th. I was planning on making a zine out of all 31 pages but I'm now realizing that's a lot of pages. I'll probably be breaking these pages and more up into 2 or 3 zines. I'll be working on scanning everything tomorrow and try to have another stay listing up by the end of the day. It'll be a lot cheaper than the enamel pins if money is an issue for you. Speaking of the enamel pins, if I sell about half of my stock (I have 80 non flawed pins total) I will make back the cost of manufacturing those pins. I sold two today so fingers crossed!! My next design will be Teru and I'd really like to get the money to start manufacturing him. I'll also start compiling a couple zines made up of drawings in my sketchbooks since that was the type of art I was doing the most while I was employed and didn't have specific projects I was working on. I'm very excited to finally have a storefront. Even if I'm not a huge financial success, I feel ESTABLISHED, and proud of myself for putting my art out there in the world.
