This month we celebrate Pride, and these are a few books that have incredible representation of all that is LGBT, I hope you enjoy. 

1. Juliet Takes A Breath by Gabby Rivera - A fantastic story about a girl figuring out her life after coming out to her mum, Juliet Takes A Breath has fantastic representation and makes for an amazing story. 

2. Aristotle And Dante Discover The Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz - A book I would probably force to read, this book is a story of two boys figuring themselves out and falling in love. The end of this book is just magnificent and a book I’d recommend everyone read. 

3. Rubyfruit Jungle by Rita Mae Brown - A book about growing up a lesbian in America, this book is a literary classic and deservedly so. A stunning read that celebrates difference, Rubyfruit Jungle should be on your Pride Month’s tbr. 

4. If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo - A story with a rare trans lead, If I Was Your Girl is a story about being yourself and letting people into your life for the first time in a new place and as the person you are. A fantastic read. 

5. Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin - focusing on the life of an American man living in Paris and his relationships with men, particularly Giovanni, this book is a classic piece of gay literature and well worth reading this month. 

Of course, this is just the start, books that could be included on this list are anything by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera, Carry On by Rainbow Rowell and I’d highly recommend Oscar Wilde this month too.
