The first murder has occurred!

There’s a sight here that looked like a killer brawl. Along with some blood (not really that much, but enough that it’s noticeable), a Rambo knife on the ground, and a broken fence.... there’s two dead bodies in the lake, ones that once belonged to Seamus and Halston.

MonoShinrin arrives at the lake, holding a large stack of murder files. They hand all of them out to everyone and then make their exit. The files state the following:  

Camp Shinrin Murder File #? Victim: Seamus Wright Height: 6’6” Weight: 285 lbs Cause of Death: Electrocution (as a result of entering the lake) Time of Death: 12:47 P.M. Other Information: There appears to be wounds from a fight all over their body.

Camp Shinrin Murder File #? Victim: Halston Thorquelson Height: 6’8” Weight: 270 lbs Cause of Death: Electrocution (as a result of entering the lake) Time of Death: 12:47 P.M. Other Information: There appears to be wounds from a fight all over his body.

How very mysterious, and unexpected indeed! Will the participants succeed in solving the case? Only time will tell!

The Killing will Commence!

As you all wait in anticipation, the closed curtains on the stage slowly begin to open. Showing two beings with glowing red eyes. Who are they?

The being to the right clears her throat and begins "Greetings everyone. I am MonoKyanpu and to my left is MonoShinrin." MonoShinrin waved to everyone. She continues "You all maybe wondering 'Where am I? 'What is this place?' 'Why am I here?'. Well, this is the place where all your questions will be answered."

Ai just looked at the two. Something is off...She pondered darker thoughts as she held her arms tightly. “Stay away from being alone... people who are alone will be taken out first...” The otaku said holding her head tightly.

"This place you're in is called "Camp Shirin". This is where you will stay for the rest of your lives." MonoKyanpu interrupted.

"I-I...what!?" Nanako stammered. "I can't do that!"

"You don't have a choice. If you looked around I'm sure you can see that there's no exits. But...If you truly wish to leave, then there is one thing you must do..."

"...W-Which is...?" Ai said, moving her hands to her skirt softly as she looked straight at the two.

Asuka trembled in fear. Meanwhile, MonoKyanpu’s red eye glows even more. Her face looks extremely menacing.

"Murder."

"M-murder....?" Asuka stuttered.

Ai almost tensed as she heard the word. "Why murder? Is there a reason for it?"

"It's exciting. It really gets people on their toes."

"Murder isn't exciting! I'm not going to go back to that!" Nanako shrieked.

"Exciting you mean..?" Ai asked as she held her arms softly. She looked over to Nanako. "N-Nice to know we're stuck here with... a murderer.."

“...Hmmm...” Toshii mumbled.

"The method of murder doesn't matter either. Stabbing, Electrocuting, Drowning, Mutilation. As long as you don't get caught." MonoKyanpu explained.

Mixed reactions followed. "Ai sees..." Ai looked quite thoughtful. "T-that's insane!" Asuka whimpered. “And if we do?” Toshii inquired. 

"If you do get caught then that's your execution." MonoKyanpu explained.

Toshii stared silently at the guide.

"T-That seems fair... but... then what if we get away with it...?" The pastel girl spoke once more.

"When a murder occurs a class trial will take place. This is where you and your peers will debate who the culprit is. If you get it right, the blackened gets executed. If you choose wrong then everyone besides the blackened will be executed and the killer will be set free."

Ai shook her head. "Understood..." The girl spoke softly with a hand on her chest.

"B-but there is no way someone would kill!" Asuka argued. “Who knows?” Toshii shrugged.

"....It must be a joke... right..?" She asked softly. "No one would be that mean.."

“Even the most innocent looking people could be murderers.” Toshii replied.

"You guys barely know each-other. How would you know if someone would kill or not?" MonoKyanpu agreed. “That thing is right.” Toshii nodded.

"But.... " He didn't have any arguments left.

“Whu--” Mika was in pure shock at the actions of her peers.

"The happy ones are the usually the ones who kill people..." Ai claimed.

Nanako crossed her arms tightly and took a step back. "I...I would...n't." She breathed, glancing classmate to classmate.

Ai looked at Nanako. "Why would you need to...say that if you wouldn't...?" She stood up straight.

Anon looks from person to person. "This will be interesting..."

"N-no one would kill!" Asuka was on the verge of tears. Mika could only sit down, and hope she could recover from her shock.

MonoKyanpu then speaks. "That is all I have for this announcement. Me and my brother will check on you all regularly from here on out. Till we meet again." 

She gives a small wave then the curtains fall.

Forms closed early!

Due to the amount of forms we have received, we’re closing forms early. Unfortunately, not everyone will get in. All the forms we received are fantastic, and we aren’t picking and choosing whatever we like best. Please understand we’re working towards having a well-balanced cast, which excludes some characters due to having a lot of similarities. Good luck! The roster will be released some time next week, and the game will begin soon after.

New Danganronpa Roleplay

‘Hope’s Peak summer camp’ has invited 16 of the most talented teenagers to attend their camp, in order to hone their talents during their break. It seems average enough, as in this world, talent means everything. 

That’s why it’s rather surprising when the campers walk in, only to be forced to play a game of murder and lies.
