Moving back to Kansas to be on my own is as terrifying as it is exciting, which ALMOST makes me not want to do it, but I keep reminding myself that the change is gonna be uncomfortable for a bit but it needs to happen in order to do what I want to do. If I don’t go through the uncomfy part I’ll never get to where I want to be.

I got a Thai constellation monstera last weekend (pictured above) for about $60. Keep in mind I had heard these plants are expensive because of the variegation and because they’re not the easiest to find. today my mom and I went to Home Depot for other things, and looked at the plants because why not we enjoy looking. Well, they had some Thai con monsteras , and she decided to get one and when I asked why and what made her decide she wanted one, she literally said “to show you that you didn’t need to pay so much money for one”. Hers was like $20, and while it’s a little bigger than mine it doesn’t look as healthy. I got mine from a mom and pop nursery and other than some dust and water spots mine is in perfect health and my moms has a new leaf that has brown spots on it. I don’t understand why she has to be this way, she did say she likes the plant, but WHY does she have to spite me? It’s annoying and frankly, frustrating. Just another reason to not be living under the same roof as her.
#personal#My dad is actually planning to help me move back to KS presuming he is able to get time off#So hopefully this year I’ll be moving out finally#Still have to get my birth certificate and my car title from my mom that for some reason she won’t look for and find for me#As for the plant#I’m happy with it and that’s what really matters right?
