i saw an animatic on tiktok the other day and now all i can think of is Lucifer having a breakdown and trying to separate sin from himself as some sort of last ditch attempt to get back into Heaven or something, only for it to severely backfire in now he has a sort of Jekyll and Hyde type situation going on, with the "Hyde" side coming out out whenever he's being too prideful/when his pride is significantly injured

cause like, they're dead right?? but technically this is just like a second immortal life so would they have hearts that beat???

secondary question: would Lucifer have a heart that beats??? like he's an archangel, were they created with hearts or was that just like a Human Thing. if he doesn't have a heart does he have something else instead??

honestly? im obsessed with Lucifer having a literal star in his chest. and like, instead of bleeding gold like the lower ranked angels he instead 'bleeds' literal celestial essence. also means instead of blushing he'd just glow brighter.

honestly shocked nobody's done a "what if Lucifer can make clones/duplicates and after years of literally talking to himself they've become mildly sentient and will absolutely spill his secrets if he doesn't keep an eye on them" plotline yet.

like. he literally makes clones/duplicates MULTIPLE times in Hell's Greatest Dad. he's the ONLY character that does this. (Vox doesn't count he was using technology to have himself be on multiple screens at once. not the same as making literal physical duplicates).

he seems to usually only make 4, with the max number being 6 to match the number of wings he has. maybe he usually only summons 4 because the other 2 are Not To Be Trusted??

anyways i REALLY wanna read a fic about Lucifer assigning his duplicates to do tasks around the hotel, and everyone being SUPER confused by it because Lucifer has NOT told anyone he can do this, and each time someone else runs into "Lucifer" he's acting completely different.

like what do you mean. what do you mean. this is the only card where the top and bottom halves are different. there's symbolism here i know there is but what do you MEAN.

also this card specifically is the ace of hearts (shown in another frame i haven't screenshotted). the cards that appeared were, in order, ace of hearts, king of spades, jack of clubs.

do i know what the meaning/symbolism behind that is?? absolutely not. do i think there's symbolism there?? yes!!!!!!

Lucifer hasn't danced in centuries.

Sure, he and Lilith used to dance around the house, and he'd do little dance parties with Charlie when she was little, but it was never, like, official dancing. They were all just doing whatever was fun.

He only barely remembers the waltz.

This isn't a problem really, it's not like he goes to many big dance parties.

...And then Charlie announces a giant dance party to celebrate the reopening of the hotel. Sure, Lucifer could just stand on the sidelines and watch, but surely most people would find it weird that the king would be refusing to dance.

Just as he's wondering if he should just opt out of going to the party via creating some disaster for himself to solve as an excuse, it hits him.

That lady that had come to the hotel on his first visit here- Mitzy or something? had mentioned that Alastor used to be quite a dancer.

Maybe Lucifer could... discreetly get a few tips from him.

Unfortunately, before he can even get past his first subtle jab at Alastor to try to get him to drop a dancing tip, Alastor immediately clocks what the actual issue is, causing Lucifer to panic, and hastily offer up a deal.

Alastor cannot tell anyone about this, and has to teach Lucifer how to swing dance. Lucifer, in return, only has to sneak into the Vee's tower, and steal a specific hard-drive.

Sounds easy enough.

If it weren't for the anti-angel weapondry the Vee's have recently installed- weapondry that still happens to work on a fallen angel...

absolutely cannot get over the fact that even though Lucifer is left handed he still uses a right handed violin. he could literally just use magic to turn it into a left handed violin. but he doesn't. why.

i love noting differences between dubs of shows, and today i cannot stop thinking about the fact that in the Japanese dub of Hazbin, in the song Finale, instead of saying "guess who will be pulling all the strings", Alastor instead says "Hell will belong to me"

like. mhm. interesting way of putting that. there sure is a very easy way for you to get hell to belong to you that is now currently staying at the hotel-

hazbin hotel season 2 wishlist;

Lucifer gets a polka song. literally doesn't matter what the context of the song is i just want him to be involved in a polka now.

the musical spell hell + heaven are under actually becomes a plot point (i have a whole theory based on this but can you IMAGINE how nuts it would be for a musical show to suddenly go "actually the fact this is a musical is plot important" ???)

Alastor betrays the hotel. listen it's gonna happen might as well just get it out of the way.

obsessed with the fact that Lucifer didn't pull out his more demonic features ONCE whilst arguing with Alastor, despite the fact it's pretty obvious his demonic features come out when he's pissed.

like. Alastor literally dropped a piano on him during Hell's Greatest Dad. Lucifer could've easily stopped that but he DIDN'T.

one has to wonder just how far Alastor would have to push him for the more demonic features to start coming out...
