a weird thing is that we got waves of people going "who cares if its cringe or youre annoying! have fun!" but no one really learned how to accept the fact that some people will find you annoying or think your art or your work or posts or anyrhing sucks and thats ok. rather it just became a weird "if people think youre annoying theyre just morally bad. let people enjoy things!". like no i think this yes man only biome sucks and people are allowed to not like artstyles and shows and media and other things

update on that

i was like "yeah it's been three years and i feel like i haven't seen the world clearly for at LEAST one of those"

and the lady went "actually you're just dramatic your left eye hasn't changed and your right eye is only a bit worse and even with your current glasses you read better than the average person"

so turns out my eyesight hasn't been degrading at an alarming rate i just have ridiculously high standards because i'm used to very good correction or something

having to wear glasses is so weird. today i'm fine with not seeing all that well even with them on. tomorrow i'm going to see some guy who's going to be like "you really can't see shit huh" and i'll go "nah i fr can't" and they'll try a few lenses, settle on one that actually works, i'll see clearly for a few seconds, and then i won't be fine anymore. i'll desperately miss it until i get my brand new pair of glasses. then when i get them the difference will be so jarring i will have trouble walking straight. and then i'll get used to it and in two years i'll be right back to square one but my eyesight will have gotten worse somehow?????

glasses are sexy and silly tho so it's worth it
