she honestly couldn't even begin to speculate how she'd ended up in this part of malfoy manor. if mia could pinpoint exactly where she had gone wrong, the blame would lie squarely on that 7th drink that she'd downed. that, paired with the fact that she was most decidedly not a frequent visitor to malfoy manor meant she'd ended up wandering around somewhere she was most definitely not supposed to be. so when she literally stumbles headfirst into what looks like the midst of a petty crime spree, she has nobody to blame but herself and her inability to stop drinking. mia is frozen for a second, "i mean, i wouldn't, but i'm also not a snitch. so whatever-" she gestures to the drawer and his pocket "-this is… suddenly i'm blind and cannot see you doing it!"
𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: the malfoy ball at malfoy manor. 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆: @rebuildeds ( for anyone! )
he’s all a little too comfortable and a lot overly familiar, shimmying open a draw that certainly doesn’t belong to him to peer inside. the malfoy manor fascinates seamus. their antiques and their luxuries. it’s like entering a whole different world for someone as simplistic as him and the urge to explore takes over, reckless hands reaching for any object that takes his fancy. they shake & they twist, turning them over to inspect before tossing back down like yesterday’s garbage when they prove to be boring. ⸻ or taking the ones that don’t. he’s just slipping a dainty - looking jewellery matchbox into pocket ( a belated christmas present for mama finnigan ) when when eyes become aware of another presence. they shift left, right, left again before throat clears and hands slowly close drawer. " would you believe me if i said i was jus’ looking for the bathroom? "
