I find it cute how aside from Julian and Portia, they’d all likely celebrate different things. It’s a great opportunity to draw for the different late year holidays.

The headcanons I based these off are that in a modern AU, Portia and Julian are Jewish, Asra is Muslim, Muriel is athiest, Nadia is Hindu, and Lucio is Christian (at least to celebrate Christmas)

I've put a lot of thought into this, believe me.

Asra

Cherishes you more than anything in the world.

Would do anything for you, even the tiniest of things.

You need a glass of water? He's already poured it for you.

Hungry? He's fixed you a whole ass meal and no I don't mean himself

Bothered by someone? He's already digging their grave.

He honestly doesn't have any issue harming someone for your sake, it's all worth it if it's for you. Anything for you.

Definitely not above kidnapping you if for some reason you decide on someone else over him, he can easily take you to Nopal and nobody will be able to take you away from him there.

Thinks things through quite a bit, but definitely not as much as some of the other yanderes.

These people overthink more than I do.

Constantly lavishing you in attention and affection, he just needs you to know how much you mean to him.

Calls you a variety of pet names, one unique one that continually resurfaces is 'my heart'

Has probably stayed up all night just to watch you sleep and then was worn out the next day so you had to take care of him. Best decision he ever made.

He probably wouldn't let you see exactly how much he's changed. Not at first. Not until he's certain you won't leave him.

And even then it's slow. A simple comment here, a 'joking' "Want me to kill them?" whenever you'll complain about someone.

That is, until you answer with a 'yes' mostly joking one of those times, and then that person goes missing.

That's when he'll suggest the Nopal trip. Nobody to bother you there.

Nadia

She's still rather close to how she was before. Regal, flirty, a dash of mischief if she's in the mood...

Loves to spoil you still, too. Loves making you feel loved, and valued...

... but Arcana have mercy if someone bothers you or upsets you in any way. She will make them regret every moment of their life up until that point.

Somehow always nearby, you have no idea how, things still get done, but the moment you need her... she's right there. It's almost supernatural at times.

Always telling you a million sweet things about yourself, you can't feel self conscious when the stunning countess herself really thinks you're better than the most precious jewels...

She'll even do more for you than usual, opening doors, even grabbing things- she trusts the servants, sure, but Portia is the only one she would let around you much.

She would never let you know about her true nature on her own, you'd have to learn through subtle things if you wanted to at all.

She really does want the best for you, and of course, she'll be the best for you.

Julian

Did you think he couldn't get any more dramatic before? You were dead wrong.

He's incredibly clingy, needs you to assure him near-constantly that you won't leave him or replace him...

But he's so sweet, and romantic at the same time. He'll do a million extravagant gestures just to see you smile, and he'd quite literally bend over backwards just for a brush on the cheek.

He loves you so much it drives him crazy. So much he can't stand the thought of you around anyone else. So much he might just use his medical knowledge to take care of anyone that tries to take you from him.

He's a darling though, constantly doting on you and telling you how perfect you are, how amazing you are, how gorgeous you are...

You're his everything, and he wants you to know it.

He disappears less often, can't take his eyes off you for a moment, although sometimes he'll get into slippery situations just so you'll help fix him up and worry over him...

Would probably try to keep his... tendencies a secret from you for as long as he could, although he isn't exactly the most cautious or subtle person in the world.

He would absolutely resort to stalking and kidnapping if you tried to leave him. He'd find a place to keep you, get anything you need. Nobody would be able to take you from him again. Nobody. And you'll understand eventually...

He can't live without you.

He would never do anything to hurt you, but he couldn't lose you.

Muriel

A True Babey.

Even now... he really doesn't want to hurt anyone. Only in the most extreme circumstances would he do so, and he'd feel really bad about it afterwards.

Really wants you to stay with him at the hut so he and Inanna can keep you safe, but he understands if you don't want to. He'll just take more trips into town.

If you agree to stay with him he'll be around you near-constantly, but he won't make you be there. He'll let you go wherever you like, he'll just also be there.. even if it makes him uncomfortable.

Constantly worried about you, can't even risk the thought of you being hurt, so rest assured you're protected.

If anyone tries to take you away... well, your lumbering shadow will scare them off before they have the chance.

Portia

A loving, wholesome bab. Just wants to keep you safe and by her side.

Would absolutely deck a fool if they upset you.

Trusts you enough to let you be while she's working, but also tries to get Pepi to keep an eye on you.

Pepi is a cat, so she also requests the assistance of some people in town, just in case.

But if you try to leave her for someone else?

She's gonna...

...

She's gonna cry, please don't do that to her.

She might also hurt the other person so severely they can't speak anymore, making them incapable of talking to you or about what she's done, win win.

She's just. The most loving bean, would love nothing more than to be able to spend all day cuddling with you in bed.

Incredibly helpful, will get you anything you need. She'll even run out if she needs to, no amount of effort is too much for her darling.

Lucio

Oh. Well. This is an interesting one.

I'm ashamed to admit how much time I've spent thinking about Lucio lately...

... but here we are.

He's prone to sudden flips in mood, from needy and affectionate to dominant and almost downright dangerous...

Oh, he's possessive alright. If anyone so much as looks at you too long he'll personally be the one to remove those pesky eyes of theirs, and make sure nobody else looks at what's his.

He'd love to mark you up as much as you'll let him, but even though he can be a brat sometimes he does understand boundaries, and if you tell him no he'll usually take that answer and pout for a bit.

The only time he won't take no for an answer is if you're telling him not to hurt someone that's seriously wronged you, or if he just. really needs to be around you.

Loves when you try to run, it lets him hunt you down and bring you back to him. Whether you do it for fun or really as an attempt to escape...

She's... a little manipulative sometimes, though. She believes that she's doing all this for your own good, everything she does is for your sake, can't you see? She only wants the best for you. She only wants to take care of you, and make sure nobody bothers you. Don't you understand?

But y'know, eventually she'd let you outside.
