It’s been months of work but the paintings are done and now hung with care by the incredible Michelle Law at the new state of the art Y Early Education Center at Hyannis Village Marketplace in Hyannis. Woohoo! This commission was a challenge because they wanted the looseness of my watercolors but on canvas. Well, you can paint on canvas with watercolor but it’s far from permanent and in a child care center that seemed foolish. Watered down acrylics are what I worked with and they are so not my thing. Anyway, I got it done and hope that the families and especially the children enjoy them.
