Hi all! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted on here! I’ve been working on a lot of fun things and one of those things is a new Pixel Art Class I will teaching through SVA’s Continuing Education.

If you ever wanted to create your own pixel art characters and don’t know where to start, join my class this semester! I’ll go over all the basics you need to delve into the pixel art world and help you create the characters and worlds YOU want to make for a future game or any reason at all! Access to Adobe Creative Cloud can be accessed after enrolling too!

Above is a character I created for the game I am working on which perfectly illustrates the goal of the class, creating an animated pixel character living in a pixel world.

It’s been a really rough week in several different ways, so I welcomed the escape of last night’s “Gel Plate - Creating a Landscape” class taught by WAC Member Artist Leslie Harper-Reid and held at Walkerville Artists Collective. Sadly my mental capacity was pretty much tapped out, so I struggled a bit with getting things to work the way I needed them to, but it’s all good. Here are a few of my prints - I see lots of practice in my future. 😂😜 Looking forward to the next time!

Some studies I did for my artclass this morning! Had a ton of fun making these, the model was very nice :) For the last one, our teacher wanted us to imagine a humanoïd alien-type creature, and I'm planning on completing this piece! Maybe not right now as I've got so much schoolwork to do, but sometime in the near future :D

Chapter 2 Intro and Lesson 42: Different Ways to Create a Grid and Divid...

In Chapter 2 of Perspective drawing we move on with more advanced methods and tools to draw in perspective and understand objects a bit more in the 3D world. We start with an easy lesson in chapter 2 with different types and ways to draw a 2D and 3D grids in perspective. Then we move on to different ways to divide the ellipse in perspective using diagonals, crosslines and 2D projections.

Work in progress project from AP Art Studio, im trying to make unique backrounds because my last project looked to similar to the lorax😢, right now im taking an approach similar to ENA, Orlas Ear worm
