mellifluous- can they sing?

everytime i think about if twitch can sing or not i am genuinely so conflicted bc both possibilities feel right. so i am gonna meet in the middle and say:

twitch doesn't sing often, the most they usually do is shanties or pub songs, where the aim is less to Sing Well, and more to join in yelling an enthusiastic bunch of lyrics to a vague melody as loud as you can. they're great at it

the rare occasion they do sing, it sounds ok! good, even! like someone who could sing well once, but fell out of practise, or forgot some of the techniques to control their voice. they can never quite get it 100%--but it's not something that bothers them

y'know what actually anytime i worry they sound too similar i just gotta remind myself there is no fucking way grace would be using words like smithereens or smidgen or over yonder. or purposefully sliding alliteration into sentences for no reason

and he absolutely is not signing off his letters with "ciao!" in any universe. and twitch would die before they signed off a letter with "your obedient servant"

i've only this year started delving into mini comics/art with little dialogue snippets and it's been a Blast and i'm having fun writing little conversations and trying to figure out oc's individual speech patterns this way

but man did i shoot myself in the FOOT having two ocs who both speak in formal drawn out sentences!!!! it is a nightmare trying to condense twitch's words into little bubbles bc they don't shut up!!
