Can the flags dance?

lippmann and piano man definitely can. they are very elegant and smooth, making any dance look easy regardless of the style or pace. lippmann is an amazing lead and follow, while piano man only wants to lead. if you’re looking to learn, they would be great teachers.

chuuya and iceman are not as good, but they’re not bad either. they know enough to get by and are really good at improvising (read: fake it ‘til you make it) when they’re out of their depth. both don’t have a preference, but because of their heights, chuuya usually ends up following and iceman ends up leading.

doc — bless his heart — tries, though it takes a lot of convincing to get him to dance in the first place. his IV usually gets in the way, so he would eventually take it out if he were to actually get serious about dancing. he prefers to follow because he has zero idea what he’s doing.

albatross might actually know how to dance, but he does badly on purpose. he’s wild, unpredictable, and sharp — if he wanted to, he’d probably be good at hip-hop and breakdancing style. don’t ask him to partner dance unless you’re prepared to be dipped at random moments and twirled until you’ve got shaken baby syndrome — you’ve been warned.

ive never played lancer but i do enjoy the art, so i drew him as a lancer mech just for u anon. he would be called "Beholder" or something like that

he would be the shittiest mech ever i think. every time you pilot him you have to fight for control and if you lose he eats you and goes on a rampage. then the next guy comes along and the process repeats

also you'd probably have to some body horror partial fusing with his fleshy bits to actually pilot him which would be gross. 2/10. do not recommend.

I think Grace should eventually realize that Twitch could not care less about what horrors he has inflicted given that they have a) been dealing with [the last few days] and b) sunk how many ships now. And then I think this should scare him and he doesn't bring it up.

no but he does tell twitch eventually! but it's not exactly ideal circumstances, he tells them when he breaks out of the new sequence, mid meltdown bc he's overwhelmed by too many conflicting emotions & twitch is yelling at him & maybe he deserves that but he's terrified they won't let him come back & stay if they think he abandoned them for no good reason. so it all kinda spills out at once!

twitch's initial reaction is. well i'm gonna be real their first reaction is ?? ok??? and??? why would that matter??? but in a shocking twist of character development, they actually consider his feelings instead of just their own for once & don't say it out loud as soon as the thought comes to them. they'll tell him they don't care about that & that it doesn't matter, they're just glad he's back. also if he ever does that again they'll kill him
