What causes Beth to grow?

"I don't have any innate ways of changing my size or shape, which sounds like what you're asking. But I DO work at a company where that kind of thing is almost all we make, so most of my size changes are caused by workplace accidents or Al's purposeful meddling. Do changelings enjoy food items outside of their diet of love?

"Some of us do! Of course, there's also the benefit that eating people-food can help us blend in with ponies and get some love, especially on a date night. So I try to teach newer drones about food and see if it's something that sticks with them!"

To Bahira: Any interesting experiments lately? I know a few of your old ones literally brought the house down!

"No, unfortunately. I've been doing a lot of research lately, but it seems all these historical records are....less than reliable. I keep seeing mention of something called "The Heart of Magic", and magic obviously does not exist, so I feel like I am wasting my time.

"But still, it has come up so often. Perhaps it means something important? More research may be required."

What's the biggest size Beth has ever reached?

The company is ill-equipped to handle accurate measurements of sizes past a certain point, but there WAS that one time Miss Manager “mysteriously” started growing steadily all day and had to move out towards the highway to not break stuff.  She ended up pretty dang big before we were able to reverse the process and ended up causing a few accidents anyways, but we avoided the worst of it.  And hey, that’s the incident that made a lot of insurance companies begin to sell macro insurance, so I guess we made history????

I was asked this a long time ago, but I’ve finally got around to updating the Character List!  Not only does it have ages for everyone, but it’s updated with all the new characters I’ve accrued since I first posted that list.

There’s always LIBRARY LASS, protector of the citizens of Bookend City!  Righteous sword of justice and hunter-down of overdue books!

Al and Elytra aren’t on terribly good terms, though it’s not for lack of trying on Elytra’s part.  Or maybe it’s BECAUSE of trying.  Apparently stealing into a dude’s house at 3:00 AM and raiding his fridge isn’t the best way to make friends?

It’s okay, he’ll probably come around eventually.  Making folks like her is kind of Elytra’s thing.

I do whatever it is that needs doing!  Well, that I can handle, anyways.  There are always odd jobs here and there that I can take on, and I’ve even got a few repeating customers (including a goat, how weird is that?) that help me pay the bills the most.  But yeah, mostly I just go where the work is.

“Hoard” is such a messy, unorganized term.  I prefer to think of myself as a collector, or historian even.  Your kind has advanced so much since I went to sleep, and it is something I have taken a very keen interest in. 

Some of these items have been rather difficult to procure, but nothing is impossible for a dragon.  If I desire something, it will be mine.

Why does your Anonymous icon look like that antagonist girl from Kill La Kill?

Because that’s a thing in XKit and because I’m fond of the idea of COWARDS HIDING BEHIND ANONYMITY being replaced with Kiryuin Satsuki, the baddest girl alive.

“If”?  You’re asking like it hasn’t happened on multiple occasions!  In his line of work, accidents happen.  And so do “accidents”.  His distinction, not mine.  Luckily, my library’s equipped with plenty of practical knowledge in addition to the wonderful fiction works, so usually it’s just a matter of figuring out what happened and finding the right method in the right book to reverse it.

Though I DO so wish he would find a better way of getting my attention than making holes in my walls.
