Fic Title: Staying

Synopsis: A few years from now, Rusty and Gus are married. While waiting in the hospital for the arrival of their newborn son, their foster daughter twelve year old Lindsey is reluctantly spending time with Sharon. Warnings: Slightly angsty. I recommend a cup of tea and a biscuit as an accompaniment.

Notes: This is probably the first time I’ve done a writing prompt. I noticed that @knowthatiloveyou was interested in reading some fic involving Sharon as a grandmother. I’ve rarely written anything with children, so I thought it would be a challenge. Just FYI, I’ve written it without mentioning who Sharon’s partner is. So feel free to insert the person of your choice into the story :)
