There was this guy who flirted with me and I genuinely thought our feelings were mutual, only for him to later on fuck with my mental health by dating another girl. Initially I was devastated, but after I figured out his big pathetic ego I began to side-eye him.

i never talk about these things but i can’t remain silent.

i know tumblr doesn’t give a SHIT when things happen in countries outside the “most popular ones” (such as the usa & england). it’s true, don’t lie to me. y’all don’t give A FUCK. not every issue and problem in said countries gets the appropriate exposure but in general shit shows up on the news WORLD FREAKING  WIDE. you set up donations, you help out, your spread the word, you say “pray for x”……

people are dying - at home, on the road, trying to run away, in their cars.

yesterday my country had 300 active fires.

people are losing EVERYTHING they own.

i have a friend that is on a train right now passing through places that have been burnt to the ground and she says the smoke is so intense it’s getting inside the train and she can barely breathe.

and yet, even though several people (myself included) have been trying to bring awareness to what has been happening in southern europe… what we get from most of you, those not part of the countries suffering, is silence. we don’t ask for money, we don’t ask for shit other than a reblog to spread awareness… something you can delete in 24/48hrs if you wish. 

i don’t know what to tell you. i’m angry. i’m frustrated. i’m disappointed. i feel like i’m screaming into the void. “a reblog does nothing” - you know that’s a damn lie, you know exposure always helps, you know people start paying attention when posts on social media become popular. my country in particular is a small one, we get ZERO exposure. y’all are only starting to figure out we even fucking exist bc of the shit we’ve been winning lately. 

but hell, if the EU doesn’t give a shit, why should some user on tumblr dot com?

This is fucking important. I am glad someone fucking spoke about this and said what they had to say. The damage is terrible, and all the evergreen, stone, even the ground is black. I was fucking terrified when Croatia was burning. The fire was near a village where I like and I thought it will burn down. I thought the church will burn down. I thought the cemetery where my grandpa is buried will burn. I still remember the smell of smoke, and when I went to check how bad is fire, my clothes and hair and skin all stunk of smoke. It didn’t go away for weeks.

[Semi-Hiatus...yet again]

So y'all have probably read my previous post regarding the poor prognosis of my eyesight (due to optic atrophy) and how much it would inevitably affect my future career as a medical professional

My eyesight has deteriorated to a level that I can get a disability card (idk how you call it over there) and ofc it's starting to affect the convenience of my daily life, so I need some more time with myself to ponder my future whereabouts and career choice.

And thank y'all for having had sent me so much love and even have had so much interaction with me that is pure wholesome and pleasurable. As for the asks that have been sitting in my inbox for a long time, I'm sorry for not getting back to y'all sooner but please do understand the struggles and the pain I am going through.

I would return to my normal posting speed once I have recovered and have sorted this mess out, until then, I'd most likely be only reblogging and recommending posts instead of creating original content. Thank y'all for the patience and remember to take care of your mental and physical well-being as well 😊😊😊

I think I have stated what I like/love about my personal traits in my 51 Questions Ask Game so I would sightly alter this to what I like about myself for today

1. I actually got up early today despite completely restless last night

2. I was able to hold myself together during clinical ethics class where triggering topics like mental health and bipolar disorder was discussed and didn't have any panic attacks or explode right away (but lots of thanks to my groupmates who were especially empathetic toward me and was careful the whole time)

3. I didn't break down into a mess when I checked in with my opthalmologist and he implied the prognosis of my eyesight is quite poor, which could take a toll on my future career as well as my academic performance

4. I still have the mental capacity to endure the quiz of today and maybe would get a not-bad score

5. I did eat some vegetables today instead of indulging in some too much comfort food that is not so good for my physical health
