<p>Starting off my blog posts with some Star Wars art I’ve done recently. I wanted to draw some more obscure characters, from Force Awakens as well as the original trilogy. This guy is Sidon Ithano (the guy who Finn almost ran away to be a space pirate with) and already has a short book written about him. Because of course he does. (ink and colored pencil on toned paper)</p>

Relic - part 1

This is a fan comic about the Crimson Corsair and his crew after the events of The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku. At the end of that short story, the Clone Trooper Kix joins the crew and they are in the possesion of a Separatist memory core with the coordinations of all hidden factories. This comic picks up when they’ve visited most of those, and they all turned out to be empty already. Will the last one prove to be different?

I won’t be able to properly finish this (school starts again!), so I’m uploading the remaining pages as cleaned-up sketches, one per day until thursday.

“ Sidon Ithano, nicknamed the “Crimson Corsair”, the “Blood Buccaneer”, and the “Red Raider”, was a male Delphidian pirate who lived in the Outer Rim Territories in the decades following the conclusion of the Galactic Civil War. Ithano, who wore a distinctive red Kaleesh mask, led a crew of pirates and gained a reputation as the best pirate in the region. He and his crew discovered the remains of the downed Obrexta III, a ship which had been in service to the Confederacy of Independent Systems exactly 50 standard years prior during the Clone Wars, and raided it under the assumption that they would find valuable kyber crystals that once belonged to Count Dooku, but instead they found a Galactic Republic clone trooper named Kix who had been frozen in stasis—along with the location of former Separatist bases. “
