Hey, every hero's gotta rebrand at least once, right?

I'm Hope, back from a little hiatus, but finally ready to face the challenges of this new island. I guess that includes fighting demons... so I'm Demon Hunter Hope now!

Still happily married to my wife (why would that change?), still bound to the Oracle (but she's back in her necklace), and still training my army of stray cats.

I guess all that's left to do is... find out about what this island has to offer, and how I'm going to need to save them this time.

Hey! I feel like I have some explaining to do about what happened to @/heroic-hope, so let's cut to the chase here. I had a pretty bad mental break and ended up just quitting the Tumblrverse for a while, and while I'm far from being 100% better, I'm back.

For now, I may keep this as my only blog unless I decide to bring Glitch back as well. Having too many blogs definitely did not help me with the burnout.

I apologize for not explaining my disappearance beforehand, but I hope I'll still be welcome back.

I didn't want to make this post, and it feels weird posting it after all my accounts have been dead for awhile, but I'll probably be leaving the tumblrverse for awhile.

I want to keep posting, and I hope I can come back, but I think I need a break.

Recent events have happened, and while I do not deny my guilt, it wasn't all my fault, even if I may feel that way.

Johnny's going to be putting the pen down for awhile, and it seems like Jersey (@captain-jones), Montague (@touch-of-diamond), Judge/Jury (@the-judge-and-jury) are all due for a very long nap.

It's been fun.

We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when, but I know we'll meet again.

Long time no see! I finally woke up again after a while, and got some baking done, so I thought, maybe, you'd like some-?

He quietly offers him the tin, being gentle, and quiet, yet kind like he always was with him.

It's those cow sugar cookies you like- He opens said tin, showing them off, proud of his work.

He grabbed his phone, now looking through his contacts; something has to be wrong with the way Jersey was swearing. And now he isn't even answering his own phone-!!

Jersey jolts awake, sending the cat, and a half finished beer flying across the room.

What the fuck-!? He sits up, rubbing his temple as he looks to the device. How long has that been going off-? Is Jones okay-?? How long have I been-

*You feel the ID Card @officialjohnjones gave you for the Reality Warriors buzzing insistently.*

Though Jersey would normally be oh so quick to reply, he was currently out cold.

He slept on his couch, Ripley on top of him and both still in halloween costumes Jersey's breath smelling faintly of alcohol.

While everyone else worried about the incoming island change, he slept mostly soundly.

Married? don't you think 19's a bit y- He stopped himself, realizing he was only a couple years older than Hope was when he even had kids, or got married.

That's amazing, sweetheart!! When's the wedding-? He was excited for her, he really was, but there was a part of him that hurt, knowing that his baby bird was leaving the nest, getting married.. She was a grown up now, and he knew it.

He adds, before kissing her forehead, gently.
