Alex does not have a job at the moment, though she should probably get one soon.

She’s a plastic kinda girl. Mainly because she doesn’t do multiple trips from the car to the house when they have grocery's so she tries to haul all the bags in one trip. 

6:Does your OC have any supernatural powers?

As a human, she does not have any supernatural powers.

8:What are some of your OCs strengths?

Her humanity is a really big strength, she wants to help protect those that she loves. Her bluntness when speaking at times could also be a strength as well as a weakness because it let’s people know exactly where they stand with her even though it might hurt their feelings.

Comfy yet cute is her moto. Here is an example of what she likes to wear.

Not at the moment, no.

She does have a cell phone. It’s the Nokia N95.

Summer, baby! No school and she gets to spend lots of time with Jacob.

Boy short cut and bikini underwear. Usually depends on what she’s wearing on her legs to which type she chooses.

Any type of pizza is her favorite pizza.

She has not.

Alex smells like her coconut from her shampoo and then she likes to spray a soft floral perfume on her wrists and neck.

She is a human currently but is being forced to change into a vampire.

She doesn’t really have an opinion as she hasn’t really been exposed to it.

Seeing as she lives in such a small town like forks and has a boyfriend, she likes to keep herself nice and trim... down there. Tried waxing once, didn’t like it so much. She went with her mom for the wedding.

Alex is just about finished with her junior year of high school. But if given the opportunity to attend college she would probably do something that involves English.

She does and has plans of talking Jacob into getting a dog since she thinks asking for a cat would be to much.

Alex is very loyal to both her friends and family. Like even though Bella continues to do things she doesn’t agree with, she’ll still back her sister 100%.

Growing up her and Bella always had clothes to wear and food to eat but not a whole lot extra. They are pretty much middle class.

Nope, because she doesn’t like to let others see her cry.

Dear Writers

Your value as a person is not at all dependent upon the quantity or quality of writing you produce

Your identity as a writer is not at all dependent upon the quantity or quality of writing you produce

Your stories are still important even if they can only live in your head

You are still important even if you can’t tell your stories right now (or ever)

Having a story that fails or flops or stops or falls apart doesn’t mean that story is worthless, a waste of time, and you are not worthless or a waste of time because you couldn’t see the story through

Don’t tell yourself getting published is your capital-G Goal, and that you’re worthless until you’ve been published. The goal is to practice that art that makes you so happy. If you’re writing specifically to get published, you’re no longer writing for you.

You are still important whether you last wrote ten minutes ago, yesterday, a month ago, or three years ago.

People, your parents, society, capitalism will tell you all of these things aren’t true. Fuck them.

And please be kind to yourselves and to your writing.

shoutout to people with ocs

that are either for fandom or purely original projects. you just spend so many hours constructing them from essentially dirt. shoutout to people with ocs who have them go through a million changed names and a million changed backstories, and still don’t feel like they’re up to the developmental standards that they should be…but they’re still loved by you regardless. shout out to people with ocs who want to share them with others, but are too anxious to tell information about them out of fear of judgment or laughter. And shout out to these same people who’re obviously adoring their creations but feel scared as shit to express the love out of your friend’s potential annoyance. shout out to people who make their ocs align with themselves in surname or quirks or just giving them those softer, hidden traits that also make you, you. to the peeps who feel so disappointed with their creations because again, they don’t feel good enough or accurate enough compared to other ocs. Nothing is perfect on the first draft, but they’re getting closer to perfected imperfection. to the creators who will write paragraphs about those brain children, paragraphs and concepts that have been building up for months only to be greeted with no response or simple replies such as, ‘oh.’ or to people who actually pay attention to them, and ask the BIG QUESTIONS and you’re just internally screaming and have to put on this cool act. shout out to people who spend hours thinking about how they sound like. (listening to voice clips for HOURS just thinking about your characters) What songs can apply to their personality and lifestyle…how they apply to them specifically.  shout out to big-brained creators who have a hundred and one characters and are greeted with, ‘isn’t that enough?’ when you talk about the concept of making a new one. If shows can have a vast cast of more than a ten to twenty characters, you can have your own vast cast too.  this post is just for people who feel so uneasy being so deeply involved and enthused in their creations. as if, there should be a limit on this type of love.  fandom ocs get stepped over and judged on sight, non-fandom ocs really get stepped over. But all that work and construction is valid and shows in your explanatory essay of their favorite genre.
