Sharing this because:
Many teachers on this platform would benefit from this info.
Many nonteachers need to understand that this will be what their teachers'/teacher friends' lives consist of for the next year.

good morning! today i have reviewers for breakfast, with some waffles and hot chocate on the side heh. being new to studyblr and all, i’m still trying to find out the style i’m going for; so i’m probably going to be experimenting a variety of styles for some time. :)
Week 13 of 2020 Quarantine Challenge
thursday: What’s your dream car?
i’ve honestly never thought about my dream car before. now that i’m learning to drive soon i probably should.. right? after some research i think my tentative dream car would be a white Porsche Boxster 718. really just any sleek and functional white car would be a dream!

I’ve had a loss of motivation recently, my teachers want us to study and learn some topics over this summer so we don’t fall behind if it’s online again next year. I speedran one of my ib courses in one year instead of two which made me m20 for that class. We didn’t write the exam due to the pandemic but we got our marks like two weeks ago. I was predicted a 6 (out of 7) and my final mark was a 3. That really sucked and made me feel over stressed about my other courses. I’m going to try and be more active on this account again as it helps me with my motivation.

Life Changing Products For Students with Depression
Studying with depression is hard, it’s a constant state of being unmotivated and it’s time consuming, sometimes to the extent where you descend into a shell of a person, living off cereal, hiding in your study and writing amongst endless mugs of tea & coffee in pyjamas. I get it, I’ve been there. Here’s some products that will make looking and feeling decent a lot easier:
Some deodorant or perfume that you really like, it’ll help freshen you up when a shower is too much effort
Following from that, dry shampoo is good too
And mints/chewing gum
Makeup wipes and baby wipes
A good light to keep you awake and brighten up the room
If you can afford it, some cute decorations to help make the environment more pleasant and motivating
A HUGE water bottle. Mine is 1.6L, keep it near you at all times and drink it throughout the day
A thermos/cup for tea and coffee or a ‘special mug’. Put in the effort of using and reusing it so you don’t end up with a million mugs on your desk
Quick but nutritious snack food:
In addition to fruit & veg this may include more practical and easier stuff like instant oatmeal, granola bars, yoghurt, etc.
Blankets, obvious but good for all nighters
Again, if you can afford it, a good chair that helps with your posture
Organisers for your pills (if you take any), and an app to remind you to take them
Air spray to freshen the room
That’s all I can think of right now but feel free to add. I hope this is helpful.

academia
can we have some half-assed academia please, for those of us who want to do the bare minimum
handwriting legible only to the writer, but not in that mysterious calligraphy way, we’re talking kindergartner script
oversized hoodies, sweatpants, leggings, that one t-shirt you got during orientation, buns, braids, hairbands, bandanas, I just want my hair out of my face
all readings are pdfs, all highlighting is done in that ugly ass mustard yellow default Preview highlighter color
post-its literally fucking everywhere—on books, printouts, walls, windows, computer, etc. layered on top of each other because you keep adding to your hoard.
assignments submitted with less than a minute to go
“I haven’t started that yet lmao”
and yet, surprisingly okay GPA because procrastination is expected as well as accounted for
“Dear Professor So-and-So, I hope you are doing well. Unfortunately, I have been struggling with the latest assignment and will not be able to finish it on time. Would it be possible to get an extension? Thank you.“
Keurig/pod/instant coffee because you gotta get your caffeine somehow
cereal at midnight
“bold of you to assume i did the homework”
what do you mean color coding, all notes will be done with my trusty Zebra Sarasa Dry X20 0.7 because I got a twelve-pack from Amazon and it dries quickly and I killed my eyesight through childhood late-night reading so I require BIG BOLD LETTERS and I don’t care if it looks ugly
having too much faith in Quizlet
all the “my last two brain cells” memes
your life gradually deteriorates as the semester/quarter goes on
you walk out of your final exam content with the blissful sense of another class successfully bullshitted
