I kinda wanna cling to the hope that there might actually be a rational reason plot wise behind Peridot’s proportions fluctuating so much, but I’m probably just deluding myself… I’d be really happy if her head/torso/thighs were depicted with the same proportions they had before, sob. Oh, and I know there are already dozens of posts about it, but I had wanted to make a comparison chart ever since last year and just as I was about to make it, everyone started sharing their own :’) I still wanted to post something about the topic, so… uh. Usually, during one of the few times I actually attend a family function, I end up interacting with my younger cousin and her friends, who are around 8 years old. They are iPad babies, through and through, and play Roblox a lot, and enjoy the typical kid stuff.

During one event I bought my switch and my cousin piped up and asked to play, she already had by that point since I introduced her to Kirby and she loved it.

I then proceeded to tell them some fun facts about their favorite games, namely how old they were because they thought they were recent games.

It was mind-blowing for them I'm sure to find out Roblox is from 2006, or that Minecraft released in 2011.

A small part of me hopes they actually appreciate that old things can be just as good as new things

I got one of those old ILOVEYOU viruses on my computer that came from a tab on my browser with the name ‘18 of the saddest, wettest, most pathetic men you’ve ever met want to meet you,’ and the virus popped up after I took a screenshot of the tab name to try and send to people rather than downloading anything.
