I'll be back to roleplaying again soon, I'm sorting out irl stuff and having a creative burnout that's making it difficult to write atm.
Hopefully everything should be sorted out by the weekend.

Caranthir has some complicated feelings about Feanaro, he loves him because he is his dad but at the same time, he hates and resents him for persuading him to commit horrific acts that could have doomed him and his brothers for eternity.
He heard his youngest brother burn to death, he still has nightmares about his screams of agony even millennias later.
Caranthir watched his other brothers destroy themselves and die, one after the other, until he was the only one left to carry the memories and the guilt.
He hates Feanaro for leading them to their doom, and if Feanaro was ever allowed to leave the Halls of Mandos, he'd smack him with his cane and personally disown him as his dad. He'd make sure it would hurt. Caranthir understands that Feanaro acted as he did out of a grief that turned him to madness but he still resents and hates him for dragging everyone else down with him.
He never says this to his brothers when they are alive because he knows that they won't understand, they're too loyal to Feanaro and the Oath for him to feel comfortable talking about it with them. He wished he could have.

Mushroom and spinach pasta would do, since it's easy to make and quick to prepare. It would give him time to make Turenis' cake too, perfect.
"It will be soon," he confirmed, cupping her face in his hand. His thumb stroked her cheek. "I'll make something simple for us, some pasta and a dessert."
"I don't mind, my coin purse is yours," Moryo gladly offered up his money to pay for whatever she needed, curious what she will paint this time. "I heard that the markets have a new selection of oil paints brought in by the dwarf merchants."
He grasped his cane for support, ready to go to the kitchen. His wife's medicine did so much to make the pain and discomfort more bearable.

"My love," Moryo greeted Turenis, promptly cupping her face in his hands and kissing her until he was left breathless. Seeing her try to reason with Curvo to be more considerate of him made his heart feel so full it could burst.

"They did," Moryo confirmed, pleased that the birds were warming up to him. Sometimes the way to an animal's heart, similar to elves, was through their stomach. He smiled at the thought of them chirping when they saw him.
"Let us hope not," he mused. He did find the thought of them becoming that plump a little amusing, although he wouldn't want them to be unable to escape danger. Foxes and cats could be very sneaky when they want a feathery snack.
Moryo kissed her cheek, and he considered what kind of cake to make her. "Speaking of cakes, it will be lunch soon. What would you like for lunch?"

He was both pleased and a little flustered by the praise, although he wondered if she might change her mind when she saw the little homemade cakes he made for her doves. Full of seeds and berries, and combined with yoghurt and cheese to hold the cakes together, the doves had swarmed him when he started putting out the treats for them.
Perhaps the birds were starting to like him now.
"You do more for me than you know," Moryo confided in her, pressing his face into her touch to savour the affection from her. He fully intended to bake her a nice cake too, maybe something similar to the ones he made for their feathery children. "You may change your mind if our dove children become too heavy to fly."
He kissed her softly, his heart so full when she said she wouldn't change him or his family. He kept the marriage bond open, laying his overwhelming love and adoration for her on fully display. He felt like he could down in the intensity of it.

He kissed again, moved by her concern for his feelings and sensitivities. She truly was a blessing in his life, so eager to guard his heart even when he could do that himself.
"They are capable of love, in their own ways," Moryo said once kiss was done, his voice soft as he pressed his forehead against hers. Normally he wasn't a touchy person but perhaps the poets had been right, and that the right person can bring that out of him. Turenis was that person. "My parents wanted them to do so in a way that feels natural for them."
"Words of affection don't come naturally to Tyelko and Curvo anymore than me," he admitted, hoping to reassure her that they all did love each other even when they butt heads and inevitably end up saying things that ruffle their feathers. "They like to do things for the people they love, Curvo likes to make and give gifts, Tyelko will help with things others don't like to do like hunting and preparing meat and skins for food and leather. Similar to how I like to bake for other people, and help them with their taxes."

His wife was far too precious, he was so very glad to have her in his life. He linked his fingers with hers, his thumb stroking her thumb.
"That sadness and anger would pass," Moryo said, dismissing her worries about his hurt feelings. As much as her attempts to defend him made him happy, he knew those feelings would pass like they always do. His brothers never did anything to him that really crossed the line (at least for him).
"But your rounding edges would not work so well on them as it does with me," he admitted, not ashamed to admit that Turenis brought out the best in him.

"That will be difficult to achieve," Moryo mused, tucking a stray hair behind her ear. His dark eyes were soft with his adoration for her as he kissed her forehead. "We have very strong personalities."
Still, it was sweet that she wanted to try and make things better. For all his brothers drive him up the wall, he does love them.

Moryo gladly returned the kiss, enjoying every single moment of her soft lips on his. It felt like the rest of the world melted away when she kissed him like this.
He made a mental note of those favourites, and started to plan to create a treat for the doves with those favourites. Birds could handle cheese and yoghurt, and with some molds he could make some little cakes with their favourite seeds and fruits.
The doves would be very plump within the next few days.
"We have some raspberries in the kitchen," Moryo mused aloud, leaning into Turenis' touch. "I could add some yoghurt and seeds to make little cakes for them, as a treat."
"Turenis, have you ever kissed someone you weren't in love with?" Moryo asked her, visibly bewildered at the thought of it.

"You are wise in my eyes," Moryo said, his voice soft. He adjusted his position a little so it would be more comfortable for her and so he wouldn't squash her. "Nothing will take me from you."
He couldn't help letting out a little chuckle at the thought of Turenis clinging to him and refusing to let go, he found himself silently thanking Eru and the ainur for bringing her into his life. He had no idea what he would do without her.
"Our feathery children," Moryo mused as he closed his eyes. He wondered if he could commission little vests with Turenis' house insignia so the doves wouldn't get cold in the winter months, and so everyone would know they belong to her. "What is their favorite thing to eat?"
"Turenis, have you ever kissed someone you weren't in love with?" Moryo asked her, visibly bewildered at the thought of it.

Moryo could feel his shoulders sagging with relief, and his eyes grew misty at the intensity of it. He pressed his face against her neck and tried not to cry, he refused to cry over this.
"Your doves could count as our children," he murmured, thinking of the docile, feathery creatures that brought his wife so much joy. He liked the idea of just being an uncle to his niblings.
If Angarato did enjoy arguing then it explained a lot of his weird reactions, and why he seemed to seek Moryo out despite making it no secret he disliked him. He vowed not to rise to the bait anymore.
"Forever," He agreed, and pressed a chaste kiss to Turenis' neck. He let out a soft sigh as she stroked his hair, he could feel the worry and stress melting away at her touch. "My wise wife."
"Turenis, have you ever kissed someone you weren't in love with?" Moryo asked her, visibly bewildered at the thought of it.

"I don't want children," Moryo admitted, he should have spoken about this with her before they married but he had been too afraid to do so. "I worried you might want them, and I can't bare disappointing you."
Few things scared him, and rejection from her was one of them.
"You make me happy too, happier than I thought possible." He said, his hold on her tightening briefly as a surge of possessiveness hit him.
"...Angarato said that I was a shallow freak, it made me wonder if other people might see me that way. That... you might see me that way, or that you might think that of me one day and be unhappy." Moryo managed to force the words out, opening up and talking about his feelings like this was hard. "He's good at getting under my skin and making me doubt myself."
"Turenis, have you ever kissed someone you weren't in love with?" Moryo asked her, visibly bewildered at the thought of it.

Moryo clung to her, tucking his head under her chin. Her warmth and scent comforted him, soothing his earlier frustration. Only the worry remained.
"...are you happy without having children?" He asked her, voicing an insecurity he'd been pondering over and over for a long time. He never wanted children of his own, he couldn't stomach the thought of baring any and he couldn't get Turenis pregnant...
"Do I make you happy?"
"Turenis, have you ever kissed someone you weren't in love with?" Moryo asked her, visibly bewildered at the thought of it.

"I'm so glad you're mine," Moryo murmured as he kissed her again and again, he couldn't get enough of her. He could feel his heart racing as he kissed and touched her like it was the first time.
"Turenis," he whispered her name like a prayer as he leaned against her, drawing her into a rare hug. Normally he wasn't fond of hugs but they were enjoyable with her.
"Turenis, have you ever kissed someone you weren't in love with?" Moryo asked her, visibly bewildered at the thought of it.

"Ugh!" Moryo huffed, wandering off and feeling more frustrated than ever.
"Tyelko and Angarato?" Moryo pluttered, completely flabbergasted. "...how???"
