Brains are wonderful i wish everyone had one

you know what makes me so fucking upset? muslims are not only targeted as the cause of terrorism around the world but today, in the wake of a white supremacist shooting that killed 49 muslims in a mosque, the blame was still fucking put on us. an australian senator, fraser anning stated today that the “real cause of the bloodshed on the new zealand streets today is the immigration program which allowed muslim fanatics to migrate to NZ in the first place” i am so fucking disgusted that even if the terror is directed towards us, we are both the victims and the attackers. do you know how painful it is hear that you are the cause for the bloodshed of your own people? do you know how difficult it is to know that no matter how blantantly obvious it is, a white man will never be punished when your name can be smeared instead? the people at the mosque came to pray, came to gain spirituality and peace on the holiest day of the week and they were murdered in open gunfire by a man that believed he was better than them and LIVE-STREAMED THE WHOLE THING. fuck white supremacy. fuck anyone who doesn’t think this was an act of terrorism. fuck anyone who doesn’t think islamophobia is important or relavant or worth fighting against. i’m sick of seeing muslims on the outside of society as if we don’t deserve a place in our own countries. my heart rests with the victims and their families today, may they never have to endure anything so painful ever again.
