Doctor Who really managed to make one of the most cringefail loser love interests ever with Danny Pink. Cries about killing a civilian as a british soldier, but doesn't hate or regret being a soldier, and instead tries to complain about how all the "good" he did "never gets talked about." Dunno what the british version of rotc is, but he literally spends at least an hour a day barking military rhetoric at children. Literally actually said the words, "I don't do weird," to Clara, who for some reason didn't immediately lose interest in him then and there.

Like, how lame can a love interest get? What happened to the days of Mickey Smith Defender of Earth, Immortal Jack, and the Last Centurion????
