wild that conservatives trot out stuff about detransitioning when many studies show numbers around 1 percent. then you look at how many people regret ANY cosmetic surgery and its 60 percent. so trans people are SIXTY TIMES more likely to understand body and NOT regret change

they will say things like ‘1000 people regret’ which SOUNDS big until you see that is out of 100,000 transitions and then realize the average of regret for ANY ccosmetic changes would be 60,000 people. they frame it how they want but honestly these numbers are EXTREMELY PRO TRANS

what the science says is ‘wow trans people really put a lot of care into this and know what they are doing SIXTY TIMES MORE OFTEN’. honestly even if it was twice as much it would be a big deal but SIXTY TIMES. anyway something to think on while the goofball devils moan and groan

Going to spend some more time working on these weirdos in cas tonight, lol. This always happens to me: I think "ooh I'm just going to create this household to put in the game real quick, it won't take long" and then I get inordinately specific about who the characters in the household end up becoming because I get invested in them after I've made their faces. How do you know you have gotten too invested in a household of sims that you aren't even going to play? You make a friggin' chart to reference while in cas. *facepalm* Anyway, more of them under the cut.

Possibly you make more than one chart because you decide the first chart wasn't detailed enough. Possibly you do that.

Was about to get started with gameplay on my newest challenge when I thought of a household I'd like to make and add in to the save. [insert 3 hours later meme here]

Getting the Save Ready to Start

I spent a while looking at save files from different creators trying to pick one to use for my Family Drama Legacy. An excuse to watch a bunch of save file tours on yt? Of course not! ;) I ended up choosing The Love Letter Save by @prxnce because I felt that not only was it gorgeous and amazingly detailed (tbh there are so many amazing save files out there to play with!), but it suited the vibe I want to go for with this challenge playthrough. There was drama to be found everywhere, if you bothered to look. There were a ton of little jokes that made me laugh. It just felt fun. I did make some changes to fit some of my own gameplay preferences, like selling the businesses since I don't enjoy playing that aspect & they always end up non-functional when npcs are left to their own devices. I also added in a few more sims from my library, a bunch of gorgeous pets cause that's my new obsession on the gallery, & now I think I'm ready to get started with actual gameplay, haha!

The story at the start of this is that my sim, Liz, has just moved to a new town where no one knows her, completely abandoning her old life. There is at least 1 secret in her past that's a requirement of the challenge, but I'm also looking forward to seeing what other secrets and such come up once I start playing with autonomy on.
