in light of recent events (life series teaser) i thought i'd share this drawing i made last month...

context below the cut (early game outer wilds spoilers (play the game please))

this is for an outer wilds x life series au @process-analog and i were discussing !

normally, when pairing up with the nomai watcher statue, you would get the memories from your current loop replayed of the things you just did.

grian's had a bit of a malfunction, and instead played the memories of all other games he has played before, causing an overwhelm of emotions over every moment coming back at the same time. just like when you remember a good moment that makes you smile, or a sad that makes your heart ache for a bit, but multiplied..

here's the frames without the black texture so it's easier to see! tried to include something from every season (though it's missing real life)
