I wonder if, in superhero universes, the villains ever get contacted by those “Make a Wish Foundation” and similar people.

I mean, the heroes do, of course they do, kids who want to meet Spiderman or Superman or get to be carried by the Flash as he runs through Central City for just thirty seconds.

But surely there are also the kids, who - because they are kids and sometimes kids are just weird - decide that what they really, really want is to meet a supervillain. Because he’s scary or she’s awesome or that freeze ray is just really, really cool, you know?

Okey i have to share this hc: I picture Hanzo and McCree around a bonfire (just like friends or partners in missions), drinking and sharing stories (like, best kill, most embarrassing moment with a date, etc), and then the topic changes. Maybe they share constellations they remember, or cute little memories of childhood. And then, around the dancing fire, one looks at the other (Jesse or Hanzo, is the same), and their soft smile while glancing at the stars, and suddenly hits: he fell in love

I love this with either one of them, but I think it would be McCree the most

he already finds the inherent romance in nights like those, spent out under the open stars, alone but not necessarily lonely in the quiet and peace for a few hours before traveling

it’s always better with someone else, and even more so with Hanzo, even if there’s some strange little ache in his chest that he can’t quite place

they might fall silent, after awhile, after trading a few of their more bittersweet stories and losing themselves to thought

and McCree would see Hanzo relaxed, genuinely so, the light from the fire throwing dramatic highlights and shadows across his face, a faint smile on his lips, the usually tense line of his shoulders now a careless slouch

it strikes McCree what a pretty sight it makes

and that ache would suddenly turn to a tightness, make his breath catch in his chest, as he realizes

So you know this scene...

I always found it a bit odd. Hilarious, but it raised too many questions. When did Steve make these? Why did Steve make these? How did he manage to be so cheesy and overly sincere knowing how much crap he would get from the other Avengers for it?

Well, today my sister told me her headcanon. Picture the scene. Steve leans on the back of a chair, as above. Peter immediately launches into ‘So, you got detention…’. Cap blinks. Peter awkwardly tries to explain. It turns out Cap has no idea what videos he means, and neither do any of the other Avengers.

So they get in touch with the company who made them, and they swear blind that it was really the real Captain America, and that it all his idea. That he came in and said how much he wanted to help the youth of today.And the Avengers all lose it because someone is running around doing an unbelievably good impression of Captain America, they could have destroyed his reputation, they could have infiltrated the Avengers; and instead all they are apparently using it for is to make silly, embarrassing videos.

It’s completely baffling. Who could possibly be behind it all?
