we battle hardest when that which is dearer to us than our own lives at stake, said jem. a parabatai is both blade and shield. you belong together and to each other not because you are the same but because your different shapes fit together to be a greater whole, a greater warrior for a higher purpose. i always believed we were not merely at our best together, but beyond the best either of us could be apart.

Haku’s speech heavily alludes to SNS.
I think we all know the talk I mean, in the Land of Waves arc.

When he hears Naruto talking about why he wants to become stronger, he seems to believe that Naruto has a crush on this person that he wants to prove something to.

Naruto doesn’t understand that Haku is implying there’s someone he cares for romantically, so he thinks of Iruka protecting him, Inari’s father, and Kakashi talking about how he wouldn’t let his comrades die. That is how Naruto reads the situation, not Haku. Haku was referencing his feelings for Zabuza, who he was HEAVILY implied to be IN LOVE WITH.
As soon as Haku leaves, Sasuke shows up because we was worried about Naruto being out all night. They then spend ALL DAY together, until it’s dark out. We NEVER see Sasuke go out of his way to spend alone time with ANYONE ELSE.
Not long after, the fight transpires between the three of them and Sasuke sacrifices himself for Naruto, which I don’t even really need to get into because…gay.

What does Haku have to say about this?
HE SAID THAT SASUKE DID IT TO SAVE HIS PRECIOUS PERSON

HAKU FUCKING KNEW MY DUDE
Haku was for sure in love with Zabuza, WHO ENDED UP FEELING THE SAME FOR HIM ON THE DOWN LOW
WOW SEEMS FAMILIAR

DAMN

a quick look into SNS journey from the beginning till the end

This is a story about two abandoned children who made a bond with each other, a confusing bond which none of them shared with anyone else. They called it rivalry, friendship but what they had was not only those but a lot more. They didn’t know what it was. They became each others only weakness and source of power. They just knew it hurt every time the other one got hurt. They couldn’t explain it,but it was what changed their heart and made the hatred disappear. It was love that saved them from their hatred and loneliness. It was their bond which made not only them but every one around them stronger.

i am so fucking sad.
the silver mask review
NOTE: all spoilers will be under the cut, so if you havent read the book yet, i would suggest not opening it (unless you dont care about spoilers like me ^_^)
okay, so i know we all had low expectations for this book. i know we all knew it was gonna suck. despite this, i found myself feeling hope when i picked this book up off the shelf last night. maybe it will all have just been a big misunderstanding and the book is actually gonna be great!
well i was wrong. its bad. really bad.
honestly, as im typing this, i cant think of many things about this book i actually liked. i guess i liked that call had a lot of doubts about everything he was doing? he was constantly wondering if he was doing the right thing, which i can really relate to. im not an evil overlord, obviously, i just have anxiety. i also liked the banter between call and jasper and the development of their relationship. it was kinda nice to see them working together on something, and even helping each other.
now, for the things i didnt like.
this book was lightning-paced, and this did not work in the story’s favor. i read the whole book in one sitting, which im sure many of us will do, and i found myself wondering, “wait, we’re moving on already?” scenes are short and to the point which is a little disappointing. i expect more from this book, i know what it’s potential is. its sad seeing it coming so short.
another thing i didnt like was the dialogue and the characterization of some characters. the dialogue felt very unrealistic and stiff, like bad actors reading from a script. some of the characters were so one-dimensional, a great example being tamara. her development was completely destroyed in this book, which is crushing to read. alex felt very much like a cartoon villain, with a cheap motive and very little development of his relationship with master joseph, which definitely shows a more human side of him and could have made me sympathize with him more. call is super dumb in this book, and he hyper-focuses on things that have nothing to do with the story. for a good few chapters, his narration is so annoying because he only talks about one thing, which ill talk about under the cut.
this is the shortest book yet at 232 pages, and of course i am taking into account that this is technically intended for younger audiences, but ive read much longer, better paced, and more well-cared-for books intended for middle grade readers. this book feels like it was written in a few days, which really draws back to the fact that i think cassandra and holly have stopped caring about magisterium. a series with authors that dont care anymore is doomed to fail, and i believe that’s the direction magisterium is going.
that’s the end of the non-spoiler portion of my review. again, dont open the cut if you dont want to be spoiled!
(spoiler: this book is bad and you shouldnt spend money on it)

Full offense, but if you believe that Julian’s past was worse and led to him being a more complex character than Kieran who literally grew up in a manipulative court, was tortured by his own brother, and never had anyone who cared about him until mark then you probably can’t analyze book characters properly

A capa de Magisterium 4: The Silver Mask! Call e Tamara muito crescidos, e quem é você, misteriosa figura encapuzada? Snippet da The Silver Mask:
Mestre Joseph só riu, contudo. “Eu tenho uma proposta para você, que tal? Callum, uma vez que você completar a tarefa que eu estabeleci para você, você pode deixar a ilha com seus amigos, se for isso que você ainda quiser.”
“Uma tarefa?” Call perguntou. “É algum tipo de coisa truque onde eu tenho que domar um elemental impossível ou separar sujeira da areia em uma praia inteira?”
O Mestre Joseph sorriu. “Nada disso.”

There is truth in stories,” said Arthur. “There is truth in one of your paintings, boy or in a sunset or a couplet from Homer. Fiction is truth, even if it is not a fact. If you believe only in facts and forget stories, your brain will live, but your heart will die.

thank you so much :( magnus is the best character in the world, I miss him constantly.
Will Magnus be in The Lost Hours? Cause that's like mandatory!!
A Magnus appearance is mandatory in all books. This is why I can never set anything during the medieval period. Except maybe flashbacks.

Hazuki
In the first episode of Hybrid Child, Kuroda is surprised to see the model of Hazuki (0001), and soon after, Kuroda has a memory of Tsukishima.
gifs: credit: @mononokeyume
But, we know that the first model was a similar prototype identical to Tsukishima, and Hazuki doesn't looks like Tsukishima, though the prototype does not appear in the first episode, which makes us believe that he is really Hazuki. So it is very curious to think that Kuroda was able to abandon a hybrid that looked like the love of his life.
And the question continues: Hazuki does not look like Tsukishima. So why did Kuroda remember Tsukishima when he saw his model? If Hazuki is not the prototype of Tsukishima, then what happened to him?

Happy birthday, Clary Fairchild/Fray! I remember when you were a spark in my eye. Today you’re 26 fictional years old and 12 years from the day your name was first scribbled on paper. We’ll see you again in Queen of Air and Darkness but in the meantime, here’s an exclusive look at Cassandra Jean’s portrait of Clary in the 10th Anniversary edition of City of Bones (link in bio.) Acoording to her Clave files ,the Inquisitor’s recommended action regarding Clary is to: WATCH CAREFULLY.

We need to talk about Mark Blackthorn
Firstly, I would like to emphasize that English is not my native language, so if I commit some very serious grammatical error: I'm sorry.
Was it just me who noticed that Mark Blackthorn had a major personality change?
I mean, Mark has changed a lot (between the time of: CoHF, the tales, the spin offs and TDA) and, I know he suffered a lot with the fairies but I still can not understand how Mark could treat Kieran like crap in 'Lady Midnight' - even before Kieran made a mistake with him.
Mark Blackthorn is my favorite Blackthorn, but I can not deny my disappointment with him, for his actions with everyone; as if everyone was willing to date him, as if he did not care that he was already in a relationship.
Before, even in the hunt, Mark was sweet, and through the tales and spin offs of Cassie we can see this.
Mark, it seems, wanted to escape from Kieran from the beginning, even if, at the same time, he assumed for Cristina that he loved him; And Cristina in one of those moments says: "I do not want a body without a heart"
This is so confusing
I really do not know how he could change that much, but I believe that was purposeful. Something could have happened to Mark just before he came home, right? What do you think?
