Update

We didn't get the house last year. We moved into a three bedroom apartment instead.

Carter started walking at nine months.

I ended up on sick leave bc I had a stage three sprain on my left ankle so couldn't go back to work til June 18th.

Carter started at so French day care just before I went back to work. He now knows more French than English. Lol

I got married this past July. I swear it was the most chaotic day ever.

Had a family reunion for my maternal grandmother's side of the family. Carter had a ball with the other kids his age.

Carter was a Teddy bear for Halloween. He choose the costume this year.

And finally...

I recently became a single parent. My husband left last Monday so this is Day 5. I'm currently trying to keep it together for Carter. Thankfully I was able to find people to watch Carter for while I work. I'm focusing on Carter and me right now and hopefully everything will work out as his father hasn't spoke to me at all since he left.

Big News!

Billy and I are going tomorrow to look at a house to rent! I'm so excited! Carter will have his own room that I will decorate. I so happy to be out of this four-plex.

Update

So Carter is 7 months old tomorrow! I can't believe it! :) He's been crawling for a few weeks, has his two bottom teeth in and can pull himself up to stand now. I'm so happy with his progress. He's trying shuffle walking when holding on to something but I'm not forcing him to anything more than that for now.

So at the end of October, Carter went for a physio assessment bc he wasn't properly weight baring on his right leg when standing, in the exersaucer or Jolly Jumper. Our Healthy Babies nurse noticed it and made a referral to One Kids Place with physiotherapist. The physiotherapist said that his right ankle was more flexible than his left and to get him shoes with ankle support bc he was at risk of rolling and possibly damaging it. Also that his bow leggedness is completely normal for his age. Made an appointment for a month later while working on static stand play... Then she called last week. She looked into to it further and thinks he might have Blount's Disease. It's a bone disorder. We have to get x-rays done to see if he does. Currently waiting for a referral to a paediatrician to get the x-rays done. If he does it means leg braces bc we caught early.

The Waiting Game is not my favourite...
