Following up on my commune post, do you ever just resent that most people you'll know will always have a privilege that you don't have? For example, even if my situation were to improve, I can't see myself as an equal to my immediate family. Being financially independent will not change the fact that I'm single, autistic, asexual, and a bit of a goth, while the only family that I still keep in my life are some of the most normal-looking neurotypicals in straight relationships.

If I could fall into the sky, do you think time would pass me by? ‘cause you know I’d walk a thousand miles if I could just see you tonight<3

I think this is part of the reason why I have so much repressed anger. I get pissed more often than I want to let on, but I don't want to end up saying or doing things I regret.
worst part about getting angry is how much it makes you want to be mean

Sometimes, I feel like the only way I can truly belong while being myself is if I was in a commune where everyone was exactly like me.

Do you ever associate certain colors with certain characters so strongly? When I see a deep, bluish purple, I like to think of Waluigi. I just saw a video where a YouTuber was making an 1890s dress out of fabric of that color, and it made me want to imagine Waluigi in an 1890s dress.

i am. so sorry if i have ever used the phrase “i have an au where—” and led you to believe that there is an actual fic out there for you to read rather than, at best, a post where i explain the concept, and at worst it is simply something that lives in my brain

I used to wear shorts under my skirts and dresses when I was a kid, but stopped in my preteen years because of my ex-best friend who didn't seem to believe in modesty shorts. Without tights or shorts, I felt rather naked under my skirts and dresses, despite the fact that I always had underwear on. I started wearing leggings when I was around 13, and it was in my late teens that I decided to wear them with all of my skirts and dresses. My reason was that I always preferred the look of tights or leggings with skirts and dresses, but, yes, I agree that my leggings also give me an extra layer of modesty.
Trick for autistic people who like to wear dresses and worry about flashing underwear.
If you can tolerate it, wear a bikini bottom over your underwear. It doesn’t matter if the cut isn’t the same, though you’ll want to avoid a string bikini bottom if you’re not wearing a g-string. :P
There may be hints of your underwear showing, but that’s better than all of them showing.
Reblog to save someone who is afraid of wearing skirts or dresses because of how they sit.

I hate sharing the kitchen with people who cook frequently. I don't know if it has to do with my autism or my desire to have authority in my household, but I am very particular about how the dishes should be cleaned and how soon items should be used, after being washed. I also hate it when people use more than two pots or pans to cook. My household doesn't have that many pots and pans to begin with, and when someone else is constantly using them, it makes it really difficult for me to cook anything! When I am no longer living with my family, I would strongly prefer that my future roommate cook infrequently, if at all, and leave the dish-washing to me.
