Martial Law: A Nightmare in the Philippines
The world was cloaked in obscurity.
It's full of all kinds of falsehoods and deception.
The powerful take up positions high in the sky, closer to the light.
The weak, on the other hand, were caught in the never-ending night.
The streets are lined with spies and informants' networks.
Soldiers in blue use terror and brutality to impose their rules and laws.
In the mind, the multitudes of sheep were raped numerous times.
They were made to be obedient and uncaring, believing anything was told to them.
The peak emerged to play, feasting on both the young and the old.
Preying on non-conformists is one of his favorite pastimes.
Those who dared to ask questions, to challenge the status quo
What society considers to be right and true?
It is defying all it represents.
Those who cannot be dissolved into humanity's sea-
The outcasts and deviants will be invited formally to the firing squads.
And the starving camps run by uniformed bullies,
They'll be trapped in the dark for the rest of their lives.
With hunger and agony wreaking havoc on their bodies,
They were little more than skeletons of their previous selves.
The souls of those who have been swallowed by the cold, quiet nothingness,
The rest of humanity has forgotten about you.
Their fingers fumbled for the light they'd lost.

Autobiography
Hi, I am Caryll Anne Y. Sore and I was born on December 1, 2004 in Trece Martires, Cavite. I am currently living with my sister-in-law here in Bacoor City, Cavite with my nieces.  My parents were Gary D. Sore and Myra Y. Sore. My father’s occupation is Barangay Kagawad while my mother is an Elementary Teacher. My hobbies are watching anime, reading novels, listening to music, and playing volleyball.
I started school when I was six years old. I went to kindergarten through sixth grade at Tapuyan Elementary School while I was there I always won quiz bees and a consistent honor student since first grade. Then I attended middle school at  Marinduque Midwest College, and there I am still a consistent honor student. I am now in 11th grade in Governor Juanito Reyes Remulla Senior High School and taking up Humanities and Social Sciences strand.
To me, life means having friends and family you can trust and who trusts you. I am generally joyful, but I do have my "days off," which means I have some melancholy or unhappy days, just like any teenagers. I have a few pals here who keep an eye out for me, and I have someone to talk to when I'm having a terrible day. I pass the time in school by daydreaming about the next hour, what I'll do when I get home, or what I'll do on the weekend.
I have four siblings, three brothers and one sister. Our eldest is Crisabel S. Sosa, she is now married with three kids. My eldest brother is Cyril Y. Sore, he is in Riyadh, a Railway Engineer there. He is also married with two kids. My second brother is Gary Y. Sore Jr., he’s in Manila, and he’s working in MRT. Our youngest is Cyrus Caezar Y. Sore, he’s in Marinduque right now with my parents. He’s now in 9th grade in Tapuyan National High School.
In College, I am planning to take up Special Education in Philippine Normal University. I want to teach children with special needs and nurture them with love and care. I want to take this course because ever since my mother and ate have always been my idols. They are both an Elementary Teacher that made me want to also take the same course.
