Again, I do not intend to get into the habit of posting here (I can't imagine works in progress are particularly exciting, and I don't really want to use Tumblr). My website, which features much Panamindorah art and some rambling about the stories and ideas behind said art (including this image) and well as my general oddness can be found here. It has an RSS feed, which I only update sparingly (so now spam). It has a working favicon now!
Regardless, here is an update, which may be the last for a while as I focus on a commission. Trying to figure out how I want to colour things is hard, since it's a step I often fail to reach. I need to push through it more, I think, so I can learn. I know if I do it, I'll be proud of myself. And I'll have to be anyway, since I'm my main source of cheering on, heh! I don't know if I want to keep the red in the rug, for multiple reasons.
For anyone curious, I have a Dreamwidth associated with my neocities that contains a post about perspective distribution in The Prophet of Panamindorah. You can read it here!
Have a lovely day.

I'm not getting into the habit of posting here, but since Patreon annihilated my one and only way (aside from my rss feeds) to let people know when I've updated something...
Here's a cropped, unfinished doodle of Chance as a toddler and his eldest brother, the Heir, as an early-to-mid teen. I'm about to post this over on my neocities doodle website. I might continue work on it; there's a lot that needs fixing (and, obviously, finishing). It is/was part of a project wherein I was meant to draw Chance with one other character/'idea-of-a-character' from Middle Panamindorah for each month of this year, but things happened in February, so I'll need to play catch up this month.
The idea is that I wanted to explore Chance's various relationships. In this case, on my website, I'll tell the story behind this doodle. Sure to please me, and maybe one other Chance Windar/Prophet meganerd. This is all non-canonical, so please keep that in mind when reading (once I have the picture and story posted, which will hopefully happen within the next few hours).
Part of the reason I didn't get this, or any drawing for February done, is because I made a big Dreamwidth post which explores the perspective data in the Prophet of Panamindorah. On the off chance you want to read that, and see what other Prophet posts I am thinking of making, you can find that over here on this 'The Perspective of Panamindorah' post. It took my ages to make, because formatting on Dreamwidth is a bit of a pain, and the autosave for drafts sucks....
Anyway, have a lovely day.

The images are (by row, top to bottom, left to right): Chance+Sham, Chance+Sham, Capricia+Gwain+Andromache+Tzu kinda, Thessalyn, Chance+Sham (2015-2021 art improvement meme), Fenrah, my tortle from DnD, Basil, and finally Chance (again). All images are cropped; full versions on my website, which is linked at the bottom of this post if you want to skip to that!
So, hi there! I used to post a bunch of art related to Abigail Hilton’s novels here, primarily those set in the world of Panamindorah; the Pirates of Wefrivain series, and the Prophet of Panamindorah and associated short stories. You can scroll back if you want to see that, but it’s all quite old and not very good. Still, I have unpassword-protected this blog, so you may view it if you so wish.
I no longer post on Tumblr, but I thought I’d let any interested fans (of Abbie, not me) know that I have a website I update occasionally where I share fanart of her works (alongside DnD art, original art, and works for other assorted fandoms — it’s primarily Panamindorah/Abbie art, though). The above artworks are (cropped) examples of what’s on the site. Each image comes with an associated mini-ramble (much shorter than a real ramble).
Please note that Neocities free accounts have some bandwidth issues; the introduction on my art page explains a little more of what to expect from a site like this (in general, this is very much ‘amateur, free, static’ web design, as opposed to something professional. tl;dr: it loads like shit. You may find that charming, you may not).
I also have a Dreamwidth, where one can leave anonymous (or logged-in) comments regarding my art, or start a conversation (you don’t have to care about my art to talk to me), and where I plan to post rambles (many of which will be related to Abbie’s works...again, primarily those set in Panamindorah, and to be quite honest, mostly Prophet of Panamindorah...I’m a Chance Windar man, myself). I’m not a prolific poster, so if this sounds interesting, but the idea of being flooded with art and rambles doesn’t, fear not. Although, if you like people who make things with great speed, uhhhh... (creeps back into boggy, slow-paced swampland). Can’t provide, don’t plan to.
Please note that this is not a portfolio-style website. WIPs, unfinished works, scribbles, doodles, and other scraps find their way onto my website, alongside more polished/complete/almost-complete works. I like that sort of thing, but you might not. There is also an on-site blog, although it’s mostly for ‘assorted nothings’. Lengthy entries will probably end up on Dreamwidth.
My second note is that there are (or will be) three art pages; the first is mostly SFW, although there is mild shelt (or other ‘fantastical people with no obvious genitalia’) nudity, kissing, and cuddling. The second page has more sensual or explicit works. The third page will be for (if I find the courage) more kinky, dark, or violent works. The whole site is technically Chose Not To Warn, but most adults should not have too much trouble browsing the main art page (and probably the first of the explicit pages). My website is intended primarily for adults. Links to the more explicit pages are marked as such, so those who aren’t interested should be able to avoid them easily (the third page doesn’t even exist yet).
Both my website and my Dreamwidth have RSS feeds. The blog on Abbie’s website also has an RSS feed, which can be useful if, like me, newsletters and your email go together about as well as oil and water.
Anyhow, links!
My Website (links directly to the main art page)
My Dreamwidth (this links directly to the journal entry for commenting)

More about RSS feeds
My Android RSS feeder (you do not need to use this, it’s just an example)
My Website’s RSS feed (you copy and paste these urls into your RSS feeder)
My Dreamwidth’s RSS feed (ditto above)
Abbie’s blog’s RSS feed; her newsletter is mirrored here for those who have trouble with email newsletters. (ditto above)
That’s all. As said, I don’t intend to return to Tumblr. I just wanted folks to know that other Abigail Hilton/Panamindorah fans exist out there. I know this website is very into Hunters Unlucky (sorry, I’m very bad at drawing animals; I do enjoy the books) so I should warn all you lovely folks that I don’t make much on that front. Maybe one day, though? I should be drawing more than Chance Windar and Sham Ausla (but Chance Windar and Sham Ausla have my heart). I suppose characters who aren’t animals (shelts are fine) are far more likely to show up, in the end.
May you all be happy and well!

Lighting scribbles, sometime in September - 13/10/18
I meant to post this ages ago, but anyhow after some big commissions I took a break to do some relaxed scribble busts of Chance and Sham post-Adagio. I also wanted to experiment with colour and lighting.

The Hallowed (wip, likely not to be finished), 28/6/18.
I don't know if I'll finish this. It's part of my experiments to create several 'styles'. I need a couple of lineart styles (and I'd like to establish nicer looking colouring styles for them), but I'd also like one just a little more painterly.
Characters are originals. They share a superficial aesthetic to elves until you start digging. They're called the Hallowed, and they're pretty nice, and they have many hands, and a mystical spike that comes out of a hole in their backs - and stuff that resembles their likes, their personalities, their experiences grow and hangs off it (it has a neat crystal in it too).
I had a lot of random worldbuilding stuff for them, though I don't know how likely it'll be I'll ever write the story they're in. It's not the one I've been working on lots. But I like where I was going with this style.
I take commissions (currently closed) and have a tip jar.
Characters featured are originals.

Oh yes! sketch,  21/8/18 - 22/8/18
This was just a quick sketch of a certain fabulous robot. I did a bit of doodling for a few minutes on day, a bit on the other. I’ve been revisiting Undertale stuff recently, been fun.
I take commissions (currently closed) and have a tip jar.
This is fanart for Undertale by Toby Fox.

Tales of Darulios: Meeting on the Beach at Sundown, 25/4/18-17/9/18.
This was a large commission. Unfortunately Tumblr will not display it accurately, even when I downsized it. Thus, I have included several close-up shots. The full lineart was impossibly to see meaningfully (it looks fine elsewhere) so instead I have included a cropped lineart of the central two - with a twist! The bowing fellow’s holding a flintlock instead of a dagger.
This is an interpretation of a scene between a PC and three NPCs in the commissioners Tales of Darulios TTRPG. It’s a little like DnD, but with it’s own races, classes, skills, and the like. It had a lot of challenging things in it, but the commissioner was ultimately happy with the finished product. :D Yay!
I took a break between beginning this and continuing on with it, so the above dates do not give a completely accurate idea of how long this took me.
I take commissions (currently closed) and have a tip jar.
This picture cost $300AUD (fullbody large illustration + detailed individual + detailed colour + background + extras like animals). The actual image is 6400 pixels in width. You may get a better view by clicking on some of the images.
This picture features original characters (three the commissioner’s, one a player’s) from an original tabletop RPG, Tales of Darulios.

The Unkindled Raiders, 6/1/18-8/7/18.
This was a commission I did for a friend, whom wanted some illustrations of her Warcraft guildies to put on her wall. It was a very large project and a learning experience for me. I learnt a bit about my strengths and weaknesses, where I need to improve, and the like. The commissioner was very happy, however, and so I believe my job is done. :3
If you would like to see the full series in both colour and lineart, check out the 'World of Warcraft' tag on this blog. The actual images are large enough to be printed comfortably on A5 paper in landscape. Please consider clicking on the image when viewing it.
I take commissions (currently closed) and have a tip jar.
Due to the size of this project it cost about $900AUD (though I discounted them to $850 as part of a birthday gift). The individual portraits would be about $45AUD each.
This picture features original characters (not my own) from World of Warcraft.

A Variety of Poses, 2/5/18 - 20(?)/5/18
So I did these as a birthday gift to myself, and also because I thought others would find it fun to look at. I was informed by Sibling #2 that it looks like Silas and Gus are arm-in-arm, hehe, but that's not bad (or really unrealistic). Gus is actually just crossing his arms though. Please click on each image for a better look at it!
This picture was mostly just fun. Gus was hardest to draw, and Sham's new short haircut changes like the wind, as opposed to his old long haircut, which was easy to draw and keep the same. I intend to draw Sham with both that old and new haircut.
I think I prefer drawing Chance at other angles. Not because I don't think he looks pretty here. He looks pretty here. I just like displaying the arch I like to put in his nose.
There is a version of this with several characters (Chance, Silveo, Gwain, and Laylan) having more 'animal' eyes. Chance and Gwain have horizontal pupils, Silveo and Laylan vertical fox ones. I might upload that if I ever do the colour version of this.
Characters include: Chance, Silveo, Gwain, Gerard, Sham, Laylan, Silas Gus.
I take commissions (currently closed) and have a tip jar.
This is fanart for Abigail Hilton’s Prophet of Panamindorah, The Guild of the Cowry Catchers, and Refugees series.

Dance With Me, 14/2/18-6/3/18.
This picture looks really lovely in person, but unfortunately I can't quite make the scan look the same, and I have so many other projects to focus on right now. However, I still wanted to share even this version of it, because I'm quite proud of it.
There are several issues, of course, including some slightly awkward perspective with the floor, but all in all I think it's lovely. It features Panamindorah characters dancing in a ballroom, likely located in Danda-lay. There are lots of little things I could ramble about, but I've decided not to today.
Characters include (from left): Glossy, Marlie, and Gus (by the tapestry of faun ladies), Lu, Basil, Chance, Sham, Laylan, Fenrah, Gerard and Silveo. Anaroo and Silas were originally intended to be visible, among others, but there is limited space on this paper.
I take commissions (currently closed) and have a tip jar.
