Casper Area Chamber of Commerce to host Two Major Events in February, 2014.

CASPER, Wyo.  –

The Casper Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding their 2014 Casper Area Business EXPO “It’s Mardi Gras Time!” on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. featuring up to 70 local and regional exhibitors.  Business EXPO is an easy, affordable way to give local and regional companies maximum exposure in front of hundreds of people, as well as learn what goods and services are available for your business. This year's show returns to the Parkway Plaza in Casper, WY, which offers ample free, convenient parking and is only a short drive away no matter which part of town you're in. Booths sold out at the 2013 show—get yours early and claim a prime spot!   A Complimentary Business after Hours will be offered to all Chamber Members starting at 5:00 p.m. featuring food, drink and networking.  Non-members are welcome to attend at a non-member rate of $15.00 per attendee. 

The Casper Area Chamber of Commerce presents their First Annual “Hiring Our Heroes” (U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation) Lunch program, Friday, February 28, 2014.  The luncheon program will be held at the Petroleum Club of Casper from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.   The Chamber will be collaborating with Keynote speakers associated with ESGR (Employer’s in Support of the Guard and Reserve), John Goss of the WY Veteran’s Museum, and Rita Meyer, retired military veteran and VP for Rocky Mountain Power in Wyoming,  in an effort to provide comprehensive community information relating to “best practices” in the hiring of veterans and military spouses from  Casper.   As part of the partnership, the program will address the challenges faced by veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses in their search for meaningful employment as well as Triumphs over Adversity as our Vets are individuals who have triumphed over adversity. They have the proven ability to overcome challenges and obstacles through strength and determination.  Get involved now through our Sponsor a Table…Sponsor a Vet program.
