We need chihayafuru season 4 because the third year team matches and national tournament arc was just one banger chapter after another. It goes into one of the core themes of the story about what it means to be a team and how it shaped chihaya into ultimately achieving her dream. not to forget the growth that each member of mizusawa has in the arc which sets up the foundation of the team they are to become once the original members graduate; how it shows the mizusawa club legacy they are leaving behind. The wheels start turning once taichi and chihaya leave the club and this transition arc does a fantastic job in the development of not only the trio but almost all the main members of the entire cast. shinobu's match with arata where she realizes that he is learning to be a part of the team and how she is alone. her match with chihaya where she sees how chihaya is closing the gap between them. suo starting to practice with taichi and the influence they have on each other. I’m doing some volunteer training for a local organization that helps immigrants in construction fields unionize because #workersrights

and at our last meeting on Sunday it dawned on me, everyone thinks leftists just do a bunch of infighting online and don’t actually work. Let me bring it to your attention that people who practice socialism and communism (to the best of their abilities in this electoral capitalist hellscape we all live in) are out here spending time connecting and actually doing meaningful work in society to uplift the working class. The communist knows that infighting (especially online) isn’t productive nor is it good praxis, and especially in a format of arguing and agitation over the chance to educate thoughtfully. We are spending our post 8-5s at the union hall and out in the field building and serving our communities through mutual aid as well as educating ourselves and providing education to others.

So don’t let people online make you think that socialists and communists are chronically online and don’t get sh*t done. We don’t have time to fight with capitalists online, we’re too busy feeding the community and unionizing your workplace.
