Clark Little Reflection
Clark Little was born in Napa, California in 1968. He is a shorebreak photographer. He began shooting the Hawaiian shore break after his wife brought home a picture from a store of a wave breaking. He told her he could take those photos and she didn't have to buy them. He went out and started diving under the surf to capture the beautiful waves that break. His work is dangerous because he jumps beneath the surge of waves to try and take his pictures. Sometimes the waves will slam him down against the sand. He puts a lot of dedication into the photos he takes. They are truly breath-taking images that show a lot a beauty. He has become well-known for these amazing photos and continues to make more.

Henri Cartier-Bresson Reflection
Henri Cartier-Bresson was born August 22, 1908 and died August 3, 2004. He was a French photographer who was known for capturing decisive moments. He was truly phenomenal at taking these candids in the streets, and around the towns and other places. Sometimes, he would sit and wait in a certain setting , and when a person or object of interest came through he would snap a shot. His ability to capture these moments really changed the way some photographers worked. Some of his work had intriguing symbolism. What was important about Cartier-Bresson's work was that he was always trying to capture a moment. If he didn't get what he was looking for the first time, then he would take another picture of something else in a sense. He never tried to recreate a scene for photography. It was all true moment photography which made him great.

Self Directed #5 Reflection
This shoot showed teenagers interacting and as well as couples. I was able to capture a few candids during this shoot. The way that the people were interacting was amazing because everyone was gathered there for the same reason. I liked to capture these shots because there was a lot of joy and happiness in all the people. It was a very fun shoot.

Self Directed #4 Self Portrait Reflection
This shoot was about expressing parts of me through the photos I took. I was able to show my love for nature, animals, family, my sports, and my friends. I thing that this shoot was difficult because I really wanted to find images that truly represented me. I wasn’t in as many of them as I like, but each holds a part of me in its own way. It was a very unique shoot because it was like telling a story. I was able to tell people who I am without speaking. And that is very amazing.

Ansel Adams Reflection
Ansel Adams was a black and white landscape photographer. He was born in San Francisco on February 20, 1902. He died April 22, 1984. He is most known for his beautiful photographs of Yosemite. A place that seemed to hold a religious impact on Adams. The way he connected with the open land and was able to create some of the most intriguing images truly is inspiring to the rest of the world. He had a way with the camera and nature, unlike the way he was with people. He may not have been the best family man, but his dedication and determination in his work really pushed him beyond what seemed like the impossible. Adams contributed greatly to the photographic world. He created the zone system. A very brilliant system. Adams' passion for photography was unstoppable. His strive for making his photos better and better kept him hard at work, but also resulted on some of the most beautiful photos. He was able to create dark clear images with very bright highlights, so very skilled in shooting contrast. His favorite place to shoot was at Yosemite-a place he felt at home. His work will still be admired greatly.

Self Directed #3 Choice-Lake Refelction
This shoot was very helpful for me. I was able to use the lighting to my advantage to really bring out the best saturation. I was also able to practice action shots and cathing people in “moments”. This was also a very fun shoot, I got to watch as people did jumps or fell out of the tube. To really see the emotion of joy as well as concentration on people’s faces was very exciting. I really enjoyed the emphasis that movement brings to the shot. There is a strong focus on the person in action. There emphasis also appeared from the extra effect the water had on the picture. In some a nice reflection was visible off the glassy water, while other times the water provided more texture to the photo with the spray of water everywhere. Overall a very intriguing and exciting shoot.
