What it feels like to be somebody else? Probably strange. It;s weird to think about.
I don’t know, I think we’d be wondering the same thing then.

Hey.

I'm definitely going to enroll! I can't even imagine what it must be like to do stuff like that.
It’s actually not as hard as you might think. You should enroll in my course, I do night classes as well.

I respect that. I think you're beautiful, if it means anything.
Yeah, it is. I think everyone has their own way of feeling confident. Mine just involves more beauty than other things.

Oui. Maman was a good teacher. Taught me everything I know, actually.
"Sounds like a smart idea. You’re pretty fluent, as I can see."

I don’t care, it was worth it

That's really terrible, but how does hitting her solve anything!? Forget short-term, think long-term. Hitting her knocks her out and gets her to shut up short-term, I can see that much.
One of those snobby cheerleaders… She’s been making fun of me ever since I’ve gotten here

I get what you mean, it's just... not what I'm used to. I never really based my confidence on how I look. It was always just my mom and me, so I had to base it off doing things right and being smart enough, which is also kind of tricky. Confidence is tricky.
Trust me, don’t get into the whole make up thing. It’s a pain to take off and it’s expensive. But once you start using it you just keep using it for confidence reasons.

Je n'ai pas vraiment besoin d'un enseignant. My mother taught me French and English together when I was a child. She always said since I was born there and I live here, I had to learn both.
"Oui, et j’enseigne également."

Great! I can't wait to be in your class. That's fine, most people call me Cass.
Well, you came to the right girl. I can teach you anything you want to know. Very nice to meet you too, Cassiopeia. I’m gonna call you Cass, is that okay?

I never really thought about wearing makeup a lot before, I'll be honest. I've never much had to care for how I look. I can change it whenever, anyway. I've just never wanted to.
I think you got it all fixed up, good job. I don’t really know but I use it because I don’t like not wearing make up.

A prickly breeze ruffled her hair and Cass poked out a hand to brush it off her face and behind her ears. "Because I don't like shouting. I have a headache," she wrinkled her nose, "Also probably because I didn't hear you the first time. I've been busy, you know. This isn't easy." And it wasn't - warping reality completely sapped Cass of all her energy, and she felt remarkably lightheaded all of the sudden. Trying to keep a clear head, she gripped the side of the door and smirked, "I'm sure it's vastly different from your old one, but I might be mistaken. I'd be genuinely surprised to find you had a tent like this."
Unzipping the door all the way, she took a step back and steadied herself on the table close to the opening. As awful as she felt, she did her best to hide it, though she was sure she must have looked as white as a sheet. Too bad she couldn't conjure up food or water - she felt like she hadn't eaten anything in years. Without paying much attention to his reaction, Cass figured she'd have to lay a few things out for him. "Ground rules: One, don't tell anyone about this unless you really, really have to. Two, repairs are on you. Three, you owe me. Continually. I might just sleep for the next forty-eight hours," she laughed, but she hoped he took her seriously. She could take away as well as she could fantasize and create, though she didn't like to think of that aspect as much.

Spanish! I've always wanted to learn how to speak Spanish, my mother just never got around to it after French and English. Nice to meet you, Marry. I'm Cassiopeia.
Yes, I teach Spanish. I’m Marry.

I - wait, is it supposed to look like this? Lemme fix it. I must have moved while you were doing it.
What's the point of makeup again?
You’re just paranoid. My hands might have slipped a few times but it’s fine.
