Modern day Curtis gang would absolutely eat UP the devious lick challenge (pls don’t try this trend in school) and these are the “top licks” I feel they would get:

Soda took the vending machines in the school, no one knows where he put them, he wasn’t even enrolled when he did this

Steve stole the bitchiest teachers car, never to be seen again 😔

Time to yap about my outsiders designs!

Except for the Socs, two-bit, and Steve

All of these are for the book, my musical designs are slightly different

First; the Curtis brothers! Ignore my shitty handwriting

The Curtis’ are based off/inspired by wolves, which I tried to show with their hair, but I may tweak it in the future. These three are intended to look almost nothing alike, besides Darry and Soda’s noses and Pony and Darry having similar eyes.

The defining feature of a Curtis is the cowlick right above the forehead. The number of hair strands is in the orders of their births. (I saw a headcanon for that a few months ago and thought it was cool. Creds to whoever made it originally)

Things to note:

Darry is the most tan of the three, from working outside

Darry is wearing a compression shirt

Soda’s eyes are Pony’s hair color

I was gonna give them canines but I give so many outsiders characters them that I thought it wouldn’t hit as hard

Ponyboy doesn’t have his earring because this is pre-canon

Johnny and Dallas(mainly Dallas) are heavily inspired by an affenpinscher dog and lynx cat , as you can see above. I really wanted to give Johnny that scrawny look.

Johnny and Dally’s book designs are supposed to contrast; hence why I gave Dally lighter clothing and Johnny darker—- and why Dally wears all light silver jewelry and Johnny wears all black. (They also have matching earrings :))))))))

Dally has rhombus pupils, even more exaggerated than an actual lynx

Dally’s tuffs of hair resemble a lynx’s

Pointed ears are exaggerated

He has pointed teeth

Johnny looks like a street dog. That is intentional.

Johnny also has canines

NOW THE SHEPARDS!!!!!

They are inspired by cats in general, but if I had to choose one I would say sphinxs. Their defining trait is the bang on one side of their scalp, and the other side slicked back—- and the association with the color red.

They all wear gold

They all have very slit pupils, even more pronounced than Dally’s

They also have pointed ears, but more rounded than Dally’s

They all have fangs

Curly and Tim have a cowlick on their bangs, while Angela doesn’t

Curly has the darkest skin

Angela has the curliest hair, and Tim has the straightest

Angela has the lightest hair

Despite not being twins, Curly and Angela have the same eyes

Tim’s giant ass eyes are intentional. Bro reminded Pony of alley cat

I’ll def add more once I finalize the Socs and the rest of the gangs designs (trust im cooking somethin UP for the Socs)
