Cat breathed out so heavily, she could swear part of her soul fled just now...or maybe returned cause she was sure there was going to be a clash and someone was going to down. Thankfully it was still just a vision.
"Well, that was a very convincing vision," she muttered. "If you didn't draw her attack, I would've been one life shorter for sure." And Cat was quite thankful for that. Noel was a far cry from both Kzinssie and Bokhohn. When the two would try to use any excuse not to get involved, Noel seemed to leap head first into protecting others. And yet, the way The Empress charged with such conviction... didn't she try to talk through this? At the top of the tower was going to be her but hopefully, hopefully the clash will be resolved through talking.
"Sooo... I take that, if it wasn't Kzinssie who wormed his way into Varennes first, but it was you instead, we may have avoided all this?" Cat quirned an eyebrow having tried to connect some dots. "Or some of it anyway. It is frustrating. Everyone got the short end of the stick somehow."
But heroic tales were rarely like how her sister believed in them. In reality they took sacrifice and it seemed that was the case on both ends. Life seemed so much simpler when you were just pick pocketing on the streets.... Cat mused over that too when she took the offered mango. She never intended to get involved but to think she too became part of this when she helped Gerard... perhaps became way bigger part than she ever imagined.
"Hm?", her thoughts pulled her back into the tower. "Oh! Err, yeah, I got a little sister! Kind of..." Cat slowed her steps a bit. Noel was kind enough to share so much insight on himself and the other heroes, it was only fair she did the same even if her issues paled in comparison.
"Rabbit, though that's not her real name of course. She never did give her real name...but that's fine. We at the thieves den like to pick our own names! We're mostly runaways or orphans anyway... so leaving your name behind is like a brand new start!" Cat grinned a bit, before taking a big bite from the mango.
Then she stopped. Not because the mango was bad, even if it may seemed so at first.
"She was about six or eight when I found her. She was among a group who fled to Avalon during Kzinssie's attack on Somon. She had no one to go back home to so we took her in. It... took her a while to open up. She would just hide and run, hence we gave her the name Rabbit." Cat's smile turned somber recalling those days. "It was...quite surprising to meet her here all grown up! She thinks people were trying to summon me but she showed up instead cause we look so similar. But I don't think so. If she got summoned here she must've been very important at some point in time." Cat pondered a bit over it for a moment. The Final Empress may have some memories of her to share then? Surely she must have done something important she isn't aware of yet! "She won't admit it but she is way faster than me and quite nimble too! I must have taught her well, hehe!!" That last part was proclaimed with much pride and deserved the last mango bite. "I'm relieved to see she has grown so well but..."
The fond memories ended now and it was time for the infuriating part. Noel could tell suddenly Cat gave this same huffy kitten exterior that he had seen earlier.
"Then he had to show up," she threw her hands up "Kzinssie of all people, again!" Her fists balled, her eyes glared dagger, "Rabbit grew up believing The Seven Heroes are saviors, which is fine, I guess but... she never believed that monster who attacked Somon was the same Kzinssie!" Next part Cat spoke through eyeroll and no hidden note of disgust "Lord Kzinssie, her favorite hero would never do that! So when he showed up here, in his human form, it was all a confirmation to her that they were not the same."
Deep breaths, deep breathes... Cat folded her arms but the glares continued. "And of course he denies it all while she indulges him in praises, the slimeball!"
She was frustrated, but soon that emotion melted into acceptance, "She is so happy and full of energy... I don't want to see her broken and empty because that monster will take everything from her again."
Noel cared deeply for his sister too, surely he would understand, or so Cat hoped.
"Absorbing undead?" Cat sticked her tongue out in disgust, "Yuck... That sounds like eating rotten meat!" And somehow she could picture Kzinssie being the type to do that... just to prove he can do it.
As Noel spoke further Cat quickly captured the somber note to his words. He did seem a lot more grounded than Kzinssie or the crazy old man and his wooden puppets. So, perhaps there was some truth to what Rabbit was so adamant about - they are...or were heroes. 'I can't believe I'm feeling bad for them now...' Cat thought to herself.
"Well...I think it's kind of nice that we met here. It's like...turning a new leaf, right?" Cat scratched her cheek in thought. Rabbit was usually way better at cheering people up than her. What would she say? "A-and...besides sometimes heroes need heroes too..." Cat carefully added, thinking back on many nights Gerard would lose sleep over his duties as Emperor and her persistent reminders to rest, "...because sometimes they forget themselves." Yes, that was indeed something Rabbit would say... Cat's lips curved into a gentle smile as she looked up at Noel "Don't beat yourself because you had no one to remind you that."
'It sounded better in my head....' Cat thought and only hoped it did cheer Noel a bit. Her sister was indeed the better of the two when it came to pep talk.
But the talk had to wait as the vision before them began to manifest. Those would always reveal whose tower was this - sometimes not as directly. So, this really was someone's Grave Tower and not just a regular monster tower.
But it wasn't Rocbouquet's. Her shade turned to face them but her eyes looked right through, "Brother..." a whisper escaped her lips before the vision dispersed into dust.
Behind her was indeed another.
"I carry the memories of generations across thousand years. I'm the Final Empress and your tyranny ends with me."
With a greatsword in hands, moon symbol engraved through it's handle, she pinned her eyes on Noel in unshakable determination. What really were warriors here to save her, she saw as another memory shade she had to defeat on her way to save Avalon. In the tower's wrapped reality, she was running in endless loop to prevent the Queen's Revenge... which was so ever out of her reach.
"W-wait...wait... this one isn't a shade is it? It's the warrior trapped here! We don't have to fight, right? We can talk through this!" Panic began to arise. All instincts in Cat simply cried to run and hide but instead she found herself waving her arms between the two and hopefully before they decide to clash swords. "W-we're here to help, right?"
Memory shade or not, Cat was aware how much Noel loves his sister and seeing the Empress cut through her was not not going to be the best introduction of the two. And if Cat had to be fair... if someone cut through Rabbit, shade or not, she too would be ready to throw hands.

[[ @soulxsteal idk how to shorten tumblr threads ahhh ]]
The wave of embarrasment began to dim bit by bit as she listened to Kzinssie's ramble and even more through his forced laughter. He seemed to be finding the idea just as ridiculous as it sounded to her now that she had spoken it. In fact he seemed just as awkward and nervous as her right now! Her shoulders eased and a shy smile formed shortly after. He didn't mock her for believing Bokhohn's words but laughed the situation off instead - he really was a hero!
Somehow this whole thing played in his favor... until... "imagine" ... "...giant, terrifying worm-- with razor sharp teeth and claws and a cape!"
For a brief moment her look turned empty - far away from the room and Kzinssie's presence. Her memories pieced together the description into an image form a moment she had tried so very hard to forget.
"No." Her lips barely uttered, "...don't." a faint whisper.
But she had to run from this memory - from this moment, just how her mother told her to. 'Run, don't look back'. Immediately Rabbit shook her head, forced a smile and waved her hands, "I, I ah, I don't want to imagine that, haha... ah.."
Her focus was back into the room, onto him - her favorite hero! He who went through such dramatics to ease the awkward misunderstanding!
"When he said you turn into a worm, I imagined a teeny-tiny worm!" Rabbit continued, holding hands behind her back, leaning in looking at him with a familiar curious smile, "The cutest of worms! But I was worried someone would step on you or something may try to eat you." A pout followed right away, "I couldn't allow that!"
"I know you are...way...way stronger than me, Lord Kzinssie but..." her eyes trailed down over the clutched curtain in his hand. 'What an iron grip. So tense...Being a hero must be a really heavy burden.' ... "... if I can, I will be your hero too! It's only fair!"
With that she put her hand over his in hopes that poor curtain will be soon released from this deadly grip. And then she felt it - the cold clammy hands. There was a flinch in her fingers, something he undoubtedly caught. But she didn't let go, in fact she reinforced her hold with her second hand.
"And... you are right - the moon is really pretty! We could go out for a walk!"
[[ @soulxsteal ]]
Fussy was one way to describe her today. Ever since her conversation with Bokhohn, Rabbit was preparing for this day, well, night in particular. She made sure to ask the Inn Keeper that no one would bother Kzinssie tonight, even if strange sounds come from his room... to which he gave her a very unsure nod, asking her further if Cat knows.
Thankfully Cat was away to check on some other tower with someone else, which Rabbit had hurried to inform the Inn Keeper about as well. But that only made him look even more surprised. "Well, good luck."
Rabbit nodded, unsure why she'd need luck or why was the Inn Keeper winking at her. It was Lord Kzinssie turning into a worm tonight, not her!
And so her mental to-do list was all checked. No unwelcomed guests tonight to accidentally step on him, a little bed made out of matchbox and tuft of feathers tucked into her pocket and her own resolve to make sure he stays inside and away from any birds who may decide he is a very delicious late night snack.
And so the hours rolled. And he started to find her presence awkward or so she thought. "Err, don't worry about me, Lord Kzinssie!" Rabbit hopped off her own chair and waved hands dismissively, "I don't....really sleep much at night, if at all." There was a note of hesitation there. "The night is for walks and work. It's much more safe than in the day anyway cause everyone is asleep!" She added with a small grin as if her logic was flawless here.
But she walked right into a corner with that one. Kzinssie pulled the curtain revealing the full moon and urged her for a walk outside. But she couldn't answer that right away. Her favorite hero was within his element right now, exactly as he usually resided in her head - basked in the moonlight as if he ruled all that the shadows would ever touch.
And he certainly did not look like a worm right now. Embarrassment began to wash over her. Flight-or-fight...or freeze. It was always the first option but not tonight. Right now she surely found herself frozen in place. She only managed to shift so very uncomfortably and look aside as if someone had just caught her red handed.
"Lord Bokhohn told me you um, that you turn into a worm on full moon nights." Rabbit muttered, "So, I ah... stayed to make sure you will be ... safe."
She thought, maybe if she stared at the ground long enough, maybe it would be kind enough to swallow her right now.
#ic#look at him everything played in his favor!#or did it?#I had to include cold clammy hand holding moment !#her idea for a walk is jumping over rooftoops I hope he survives... :D;#he had a close one when he accidentally jolted her memories! so close...#But she is still his Bunny who thinks she can protecc him too ;-;

Quite alert at that, Rabbit would hold his hands! She is quite concerned in fact - is he anxious? Is he nervous? His hands are so cold! Is he cold!? Maybe she should consider gifting him gloves for the upcoming holiday... An ever worried look is locked on the clammy cold hands, oblivious to the murder stare Cat is giving over her shoulder at poor Kzinssie.
Kzinssie has one of those really unpleasant kind of clammy cold and limp sort of hand holds.
#ic#she is braver than me#i would not hold clammy hands lmao#but more things to add to my doodle list >u>;;#last day at work then freedom for the rest of the year \o/

There was a brief moment where Cat considered, the teeny-tiny possibility that this was some random guy who just conveniently agreed that he is Kzinssie. That, maybe he was not that same monster who took over Somon and attacked Avalon. But the moment she saw that dark glimmer, that smug smile, the way he picked his words with a flourish she had heard before - this was indeed that Kzinssie. 'You dirty little slime ball...'
"Argh! No, I'm not talking about that!" Cat turned around, hands balled into fists. He was taunting her, she had no way to prove anything... and he knew that. "Who cares what you did aons ago if you are acting like ... like.... whatever you defeated back then!"
Finally she threw her hands up in frustration, "You attacked Somon! She lost her parents because of you! A-and now you are just shamelessly indulging yourself in her praises because she is convinced you are her favorite storybook hero!"
Cat's emotions were speaking before she could order her thoughts. She huffed and folded her arms, eyes pinned down, or anywhere than Kzinssie's coy smile - else she wasn't sure she could stop herself from strangling him.
"Sooner or later you will transform and she will recognize you. It's cruel to play with her feelings like that, you know?" She scoffed, "Not that I expect you to care." ... 'Maybe I hope he does?... Argh, what am I thinking... The only thing that guy cares about is himself!'
kabedon! - Of course it's Cat who slams her fist full force to the wall missing only barely Kzinssie's face, "I know what you are and what you did. For how long do you intend to keep your little game going, hm?"
:: KABEDON :: accepting from @cat-n-rabbit
Okay. Well. He knew this moment was coming sooner or later. Cat had been sprinkling those sharp little barbs his way ever since he showed up in this place. Fortunately, Rabbit had danced obliviously past every single one so far, and Kzinssie was really hoping to keep it that way.
His eyes flicked quickly between her fist, where it rested at the wall, and her glaring face. For a moment, a flicker of panic darted across his features-- but it quickly tempered, smoothing into something far more controlled. And then, like a switch, he smirked, the curve of his lips sharp enough to draw blood.
"Can't say I know what you're talking about~." His eyes darkened, the smirk widening as he ducked smoothly under her arm. Straightening at her side, he clasped his hands behind his back, posture the perfect picture of feigned innocence.
"What did I do, hmm?" all mock curiosity. "Are you talking about that time I defeated the termites singlehandedly, withthehelpofsixotherpeople? Yeah, I did that. But that was no game."
(It was a game. It was called Romancing Saga.)
#ic#hissy frustrated Cat wants to scratch!#she should be careful pushing his buttons like that...#what if he gets serious?

While still musing where to find Noel, the just-dying-from-something Kzinssie caught up with her. That was unexpected, especially how evident he made it that he did not want to help her.
Her steps slowed down while watching Kzinssie in his full heroic display until she finally stopped and rested the shovel into the snow to give him her full attention. 'He really tries, so very hard to be convincing. It is ... endearing.' she thought while her lips began to curl into a well familiar smile with every next bold proclimation he delivered. She couldn't pin point what made him change his mind so quickly but she was glad for it.
"What a timely miracle!" Rabbit chuckled, mostly amused at his theatrics if anything. "Thank you, Lord Kzinssie! I'm sure the towns people will be thankful too!"
@cat-n-rabbit from here
Ha. Haha. He'd gotten out of helping! A brilliant victory, really. This whole situation was a mess anyway. They should just leave the houses buried under snow. The lucky survivors would dig their way out eventually, right?
Kzinssie leaned against the wall, watching smugly as Rabbit's hand fell from his hair. But then… there was a pang. He watched her straighten, pick up the shovel again, and there it was--another pang.
What was that? Guilt? No, surely not. He was Lord Kzinssie, far beyond such petty, mortal feelings. Yes. He had long evolved past those.
Then she mentioned Noel.
Noel. That do-gooder wouldn’t hesitate to take on the task of clearing the entire town. But-- LORD Noel!?
That final pang hit like a hammer, sending Kzinssie's supposed injuries-- and his pride-- flying out the window. His miraculous recovery was instantaneous as he sprang to his feet, suddenly charged with energy.
"Wait, wait, wait! We shouldn't bother Noel," he blurted, a note of mild panic as he hurried after her. "You know he's busy with, uh, brooding and all that other stuff!"
He walked backward beside her, his expression somewhere between desperate and determined, arms gesturing wildly. "A-and you know what, I suddenly feel a lot better-- It's a Christmas Miracle™!" he punctuated this with an overly dramatic flex of his many imaginary muscles.
"And what with all this holiday spirit in the air, I'm suddenly feeling pretty generous," he clasped his hands behind his head in a show of exaggerated nonchalance. "So, I gueeesss I can lend my strength to clearing some snow."
Anything to avoid Noel taking the credit. And maybe, anything to make her smile at him again wait what.
#ic#that silly goober...!#Kzinssie who used Hero job skip potion and now has to do the lvl 1 job quest#He earned a smile tho!

Rabbit made a small step back, giving Kzinssie enough space to execute his dramatics, watching in detail every one of them. 'Broken liver, huh?'
She crouched down next to him, the stars in her eyes had faded now and her smile although still there, carried a bittersweet accent, "You can be honest with me, Lord Kzinssie." She reached out to brush a strand of hair from this ever so overthinking head. To resort to such dramatics just to avoid helping her? "I would understand." It hurt her more than she was willing to admit.
She let a small defeated breath out and stood up. That snow wasn't going to clear itself. She picked the big shovel and turned to leave. "Maybe Lord Noel is still around..." or maybe Lord Wagnas whom she heard was master of pyrology ... he could easily melt the snow! Although that could cause a whole different problem...
You know... it's his unlucky day so he gets another. kabedon! - The most gentle hand stop in history but stop nonetheless. He was trapped and Rabbit leaned in, smiling extra cutesy today. She wanted something ... "Would you please help me with clearing the snow, Lord Kzinssie?" leaning in too close now, stars in her eyes once more, "Please, my favorite brave hero?"
:: KABEDON :: accepting from @cat-n-rabbit
He had tried to slip away as discreetly as possible the moment he realized just how deeply the snow had buried everything. Rabbit and her trusty shovel seemed to have things handled, after all… Sooo, Kzinssie reasoned, he'd only be in the way!
Unfortunately, in his haste to retreat, he'd completely forgotten one very important detail: snow left footprints.
And now, there she was, standing before him, shovel exchanged for pinning him between her arms against the wall. Fixing him there with those big sparkling doe eyes. She was too close, he was trapped. He was trapped.
"Uhh… Well, you know I totally would, Bunny, but--"
Desperation overtook him. He clutched his side suddenly, doubling over with an exaggerated cringe, and slid dramatically down the wall like a marionette with its strings cut. "I-I think I broke my liver in the impact," he groaned, voice quavering with 'agony'. "Ow, augh. And-- and I've lost a lot of blood. Aughhhh." His head lolled to the side, overplayed suffering.
"I need to-- ah-- go sit down in a really warm lodge. Right away. Life or death situation, you understand…"
#ic#its ok Cat you don't have to do anything#he will shoot himself in the foot on his own 🥲#with her high perception score not a chance she would buy the dramatics but she appreciates the energy he puts into those!

Today on things from SaGaRS that are no longer available... and I miss so very much. The Christmas plaza and it's music...! and the text "Thank you for always playing" ;u;7
I have such fond memories of my first Christmas in RS cause first time we saw World Tower and I got so far!! Which to me was mind blowing cause I considered myself a casual player. But I kept failing to take Creator down and so my journey ended there and my love for Creator started. :'D; I did eventually clear the tower on it's second run and the additional floors on release ...which I guess removed my casual player badge. (good lord, that nightmare battle vs Armored Ludwig still haunts me)
Anyhowsies, the xmas track is called Christmas in Podorui if anyone wants a proper loop. I hope RS3 gets a pretty 3D remake too some day so I get to enjoy Count Leonid's pretty snowy town in full 3D glory.
#romancing saga reuniverse rambles#and the pretty xmas music that we got on the plaza#i often listen to it around holiday times#its so soothing#Youtube

Love Language Headcanons
On topic of affection... [[ I do very much ship Cat with Gerard since my first RS2 play through, ages and ages ago, so I kinda wrote these with that in mind. In my head it was like "what kind of dynamic feels IC and will be fun to write/draw." For Rabbit, I wanted to shape her into a more of an opposite of Cat but not like... door-mat-y and kindness-to-a-fault type. I aimed for "you can be kind and resilient" with her like a passive support hero type. I try to prioritize what gives good fodder for a story/development in general.]]
Cat
Looks like a cinnamon roll - is a sinnamon roll.
Active type! She is full of energy and enjoys many activities, dangers and thrills, and she will want you to be part of them. You never know when your last day may come so you may as well live every day to the fullest!
Straight forward! She is not good about second guessing or playing mind games. If she has feelings for you she will be up front about it and will expect the same form you.
Tit for Tat! You will get what you give. She isn't the forgive-and-forget type but she is understanding. She expects to feel loved and will make you feel loved in return.
Intentionally Physical! She is pretty physical and expressive when it comes to her affection. She will not shy to kiss you all over and gets so delighted to see you flustered! She is playful and will user her charms on you.
Help out! Ever the active type, she will want to be part of your adventures and won't try to stop you from doing anything dangerous. If you are going down, she will go down with you. We all die sooner or later anyway - we may as well go down with a bang!
Questionable Morals - While Cat's moral compass at the right direction (most of the time), she will ignore it for you - for better or for worse. She doesn't like taking responsibility or getting involved for some great justice ...but for you? If you won her love and affection, she will do it for you.
Rabbit
Looks like a cinnamon roll - is a cinnamon roll.
Nurturing Type! She won't put her needs or wants first - she will put yours. She is used to observing and tends to read body language well or spot things others aren't aware of. She won't neglect herself though. After all you can't support others if you are dead!
Unconditional! If you are happy, thriving and smiling, she will be happy too even if she is hurt in the process. She is no hero who will be written about in the books - you are! (according to her anyway) But if she leaves a good memory for someone, that will be good enough for her.
Reverse-Pick-pocketing! Her fingers are nimble and she can steal with ease but she finds much more delight in leaving small gifts in someone's pockets without them noticing a thing. Bad things happen without a reason, so why not good things too? Finding a piece of candy or a little sparkling coin in your pocket can be such!
Accidentally Physical! Emotions carry this one and when she is swept by affectionate excitement, she will grab your hands, hug you with full force or kiss you all over ... then sink in embarrassment when realizes what she had just done.
Speak up! While she may downplay herself, she is not shy to speak up for others especially dear ones. She knows what it is to be unnoticed in the shadows and she won't let you stay there. Injustice bothers her greatly.
Strong Moral Compass - She can understand one's less than moral choices but she is not likely to agree with them regardless of how important you are to her. (Which would often spoil Cat's fun on heist nights. You can't just steal from everyone!)
#musing over the sisters today#Rabbit is so very soft#Cat is the type to expect equality and quality!#Slow days at work time to type!

[[ @crimsondragonleader ]]
Whenever Noel would fight there was something ferocious and beast-like. Every strike felt full of unresolved wrath. Cat did not want to be on the way of any of those, ever. When he began to explain about absorption magic she caught similar intensity to his tone - something unresolved. Her feet parted with another stone tile beneath just in case she had to make a quick exit. However as he spoke further, it almost felt like a completely different Noel. His tone became more even, more gentle. There were others she knew who ...simply had very intense stare and couldn't help it. Hector or Bear for once came to mind. Perhaps Noel carried similar syndrome of resting-glaring-face ... Cat nodded to her own conclusion.
Cat's shoulders relaxed and she found herself trotting behind a bit closer than before. Outside of combat Noel could almost pass for a noble knight of Avalon, now when she thought about it... A hero from the past.
"I do remember Kzinssie." Cat folded her arms over her head, "He attacked Avalon at one point. He did look pretty ...wormy. I don't know who believed that was him though. I for one was pretty sure he was just an over-sized goblin for the longest time." Gerard and the others did assure her this really was the Kzinssie. And soon followed the truth behind the Seven Heroes and all the impending danger to the world for years and years ahead. However none of them ever mentioned any Termite Queens. "Most people talked about The Seven Heroes being some kind of saviors. Some lived and died with that thought." Cat sighed with that thought and waved a hand, "Whatever helped them sleep better I guess. I prefer to rely on my own two feet."
So, they would resemble whatever they would absorb. Cat pondered over that thought... and her face quickly twisted in disgust - was Bokhohn eating old people to look like that? It was a question she didn't want answers too, at least not right now.
"Oi! Don't you ever think about absorbing me, by the way!" Cat stopped abruptly, her lips pressed into a pout, "I will give you the stomach ache of the century. It will be so bad you will spit me out and some!"
And she looked just about as threatening as a huffy kitten arching its back.

For a moment, Cat was sure she was about to part with one of her nine lives, which she often joked about whenever she was sharing a tale of how she narrowly escaped death. Wasn't this man supposed to be like a priest or something - she was fairly sure someone had told her something along the lines, then why was he so...
'That guy is intense...!' Cat thought.
There was a quite "Whew..." that escaped her when Wagnas' tone turned more gentle. In return, she lowered the snowball thinking, it won't be wise at all to push this one further into the snowball fight idea.
"Err...friends?" Cat blinked on that question. Just what kind of rumors was this weirdo spreading - of course they were not friends! "Oh, not a chance!" She scoffed and tossed the snowball into the pile. "Maybe he meant my sister - we look kinda similar, but she has red hair and usually keeps to herself. You won't see her unless she wants you to see her."
Now with hands free of snowballs, Cat folded her arms and added, "She is a big fan of his" . . . There were no happy notes in that statement . . . "Is he causing trouble?"
Cat quirked an eyebrow, she hasn't seen Kzinssie all day today - not that she'd consider that a bad thing.

Cat stayed behind that corner in the perfect ambush spot. He was almost there...! She could hear the steps in the snow.
"Gotcha!" She threw a snow ball right at the unexpected hero... and it didn't take long to realize, that was not Lord Gerard. In fact, this was one of the seven heroes and not just anyone but THE ONE she was told is the big deal. Did Lord Gerard take a sharp turn somewhere!? "Errm...h-hey there, ehh...hehe...heh" she stammered and took a cautious step back, "Would you like to join a... snow...ball fight?"
Cat nervously lift the snow ball in her other hand, which she had prepared to double down on the poor unexpected lord Gerard... who would continue to be such as he was nowhere to be found.
#ic#Mister Intensity!#We must find ways for Wagnas to enjoy the holidays!#gotta introduce him to mulled wine#the sisters finally meet butterfly jesus and now they will bother him as well!

So much snow...
Rabbit's shoulders slumped and soon after she found herself sitting on the ground accepting the full defeat. She had just finished fixing all the messed up snowmen in the town (who would even dare vandalize those!?) and now this giant snowball came out of nowhere wiping not only the snowmen but all the set decorations and everything. At least no one seemed to be hurt or so it seemed when the people began to slowly come out of their homes to examine the damages.
"Just my luck..." Rabbit smiled and closed her eyes for a moment. Cat was nowhere to be found all morning too. It was all up to her now. "Well, this snow isn't going to remove itself." She patted her cheeks, shaking off any hints of defeat and looked ahead with rekindled determination. Now armed with a shovel way bigger for someone of her size, she began to remove the snow as best as she could.
#ic#open starter?#so much snow to remove...#at this point this blog is more of a doodle account#I've been so itchy to sketch things lately#i should start queuing things as not to flood anyone's dash#bonus Kzinssie shaped leggies sticking out of the snow!#ok I drew a whole avalanche there but shhh....!

Cat remained frozen in place as her eyes followed the growing Kzinssie Snowball rolling towards the town. The second prepared snowball slipped out of her hand and plopped right on the ground shortly after the impact bellow. The blonde remained frozen in disbelief for a good long moment until she finally muttered under her breath, "He...really is such a klutz."
Cat's shoulders slumped. This turned into such a mess. "Well, I ain't cleaning after him." She folded her arms and decided it's best not to show her face in town for the rest of the day.
"Dodge if you can!" That was the only warning that came from Cat before she hurled a snowball right at Kzinssie's face and she was already preparing another!
"Wh--?"
That was all Kzinssie managed, just two letters, before her snowball struck him square in the face, an impact which forced him backward. His foot caught on a rock buried beneath the snow, and down he went, tumbling head over heels, accumulating more snow with each roll.
By the time he reached the bottom, he was an unstoppable force, a massive white boulder barreling toward town. Innocent bystanders scattered in alarm, diving for cover... Not the first time he'd provoked such reactions. Still, it was a cold comfort-- literally-- that the largest snowball in the snowball fight was his.
#ic#At least he won the snowball fight!#disgusted tanjiro meme face moment which of course I had to sketch too!#She really thought he could take more than one snowball... u_u;;
