Lots of thoughts recently. Everything feels plastic.

I could go on and on about why all that AI "art" is bad. I could mention theft, lack of creativity, it's impact on the work field and environment, but countless people have already said all that. I wanted to touch on something that to me is the most utterly wrong about all of it.

Art is more than just something pretty to look at or listen to. It's therapeutic. It's a form of communication. A tool for human connection. It's a pure, human need.

I got to the point in Nona where Cam and Pal become Paul.

Like... oof. I know it's the best thing they could have done given the circumstances. They needed a lyctor to traverse the river, to save Nona, and complete the mission to open the locked tomb. They get to never be apart as a complete fusion of both of them

Still hurts though.

okay one bone that I have to pick with the tlt fandom is the headcanoning of Harrow as being a constant energy drink/black coffee drinker because in Harrow the Ninth she canonically says she doesn't like strong flavors and that as a child even warm water with lemon in it was too strong for her. I think a monster energy would kill Harrow the way people on here like to joke about a dorito killing a medieval peasant
