So the other day @goodomensao3tagoftheday posted "there was only one bed, seriously it happens like four times"

Which is the very brilliant fic Married at First Sight (T) by @aracloptia. I went back and re-read it and sobbed a lot (it does end happily though!)

And then I was messaging @xtasteslikeburningx who says she never sees "there was only one bed" in the wild.

Well my lovely, I trawled my history for you 🤣🤣🤣 and this is what I found and would recommend! ❤️

It's New Year's Eve, the hotel have fucked up the booking and A and C are snowed in. Whatever could possibly happen next?! You also know you're in for a good time when @feraltuxedo is in charge 😁 (E)

This is in progress but the author is reliable, although they've had some health problems recently. I'm really enjoying it. If you're a fan of fake relationship you might like this one doubly 🤣 not sure if they're on Tumblr, anyone know? (E)

When I was collecting links earlier my note for this one read merely "fucking brilliant". And it is. I would have said the world didn't need a pandemic AU, and I would have been wrong. I'm very glad @themoonmothwrites wrote one. Also, strong Aziraphale and Crowley in lingerie. I mean you can't go wrong. (E)

Another @feraltuxedo classic. It's post-apocalypse and there are zombies??? But it's angst light. I was skipping it because of the zombies but I asked for recs where Aziraphale is a sex worker and was told to read this (and they were right!). I was promised the zombies were more a nuisance and yeah that's true. Also I think three feral tuxedo recs in one post is going a bit far but at the same time I have to give an honorary mention to The Runaway where, you guessed it, there's only one bed unless you count the sofa bed don't spoil it (E)

Fake relationship. Crowley is an artist. This one made me laugh. For once the pining is only one sided 🤣 (E)

AAAAAH #RAINBOWROAD. IT'S BLOODY BRILLIANT. @nieded is amazing. I absolutely cannot stand F1 but I love them in this more than I can say. The whole series is brill. (E)

It's tagged "non graphic violence" - there is one chapter with a murder and it's not detailed, exactly, but I think non-graphic is underplaying it a bit and it doesn't mention blood which I think it should. But it's brill, just, might not be for everyone. (E)

But in my notes app, specifically in my fic ideas folder, I have a bunch of careers saved. So if you want ideas here are a few of mine! Obviously bookshop keeper and librarian are the obvious choices, along with literary teacher or professor. But I also love book binder, antiques specialist, editor, author, music teacher, music or food critic, baker, museum curator or worker, and classical musician. I know priest is popular but I go for hospital/military Chaplin. My absolute favorites however are tailor/costumer and one I have never actually seen, perfumer!

I like how good omens au’s give C&A their jobs.

Crowleys is a doctor, stripper, scientist, botany/history proffesor, sex worker, preist, reptile shop owner, flower shop owner, barista, IT worker, bussines man, police, astronomist, influencer etc

Aziraphale is a bookshop owner. He MIGHT be a proffesor. In literature.
