Have you always wanted to build on small 1X1 lots? Or have a smaller sized beach lot for your surfer shack? Well, now you can! I have done all the Lot-Adjusting work for you. 😉

These lots were made with the UC installed. If you don't have all the EPs/SPs (or at least AL/M&G as your highest one,) you prolly can't use these! (I provided links below, for similar "empty lot" collections - some of them don't need all EP/SPs.)

ALL possible lot sizes are included (within the game's original size limit of 6X6) - including Beach lots.

These are perfectly flat lots (well, all except for the beach lots...)

These were made on Lush Terrain, but that doesn't really matter anymore. Whatever terrain you put them down on (Desert, Dirt, Lush, or Cement) the game will change the lot's "base terrain" to match.

The Sun is oriented to the front of the lot.

Lots are shrunk/expanded with Moo's Lot-Adjuster

Lots are cleaned/compressed with Chris Hatch's Lot Compressor.

New easy-to-read Thumbnails made by me.

The lots can be found at the END of your LotBin catalog.

There is No CC used in these empty lots.

To INSTALL: Unzip the "New Empty Lots" folder. Open it and move (or copy/paste) the 32 files into your LotCatalog (Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\LotCatalog). Find the lots by scrolling to the end of your Lot Bin the next time you are in your Neighborhood.

To make them PERMANENT - so they are in your catalog whenever you start a new game - put them here: (These paths are for the UC - your path may be different) - If you want them toward the end of your LotBin, put them in the base game folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Double Deluxe\Base\TSData\Res\UserData\LotCatalog - If you put them at the beginning of your LotBin, put them in your highest EP folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\UserData\LotCatalog

what are your favorite maxis items, after doing cc-free builds for a long time?

Hrmmmm... "favorite" may be too strong of a word here, but I find myself reusing the Club counter set over and over, because it has a matching bar - that can be placed in houses, against the wall, and works in a 'home' setting without generating a bartender.

That set also matches with the 'juice-on-the-wall' wine rack, which can be turned around to look like upper kitchen cabinets.

With just the original maxis items - NOTHING matches! That's what is so aggravating about No-CC building. ...and why I prefer to build mostly blank shells that ya'll can CC-up to your hearts content when you get them in your games.

My favorite building tools are the Lot and Grid-Adjusters. ;)

They make building fun! ...and keep the build CC-Free.

hiii! do you have favorite CC build sets/maxis expansion sets? apart from bespoke lol. i use the latter in all of my builds/renovations

MsB (TSR) has a bunch of completer sets I love... And Windkeeper (TSR/MTS) And LeeFish (LeeFish/MTS) And HL (Sims2Artists/GoS/MTS) Oh - and tBudgett (MTS)

I tend to go for the "old" stuff ;)

For non-completer CC - I like the Bespoke set and Buggy's Nooks and Niches set. Plus all the rest of the stuff by the above mentioned creators. :D

There are really sooooo many things! I've been building mostly CC-Free for a couple years now... I miss all the goodies!

I plan to switch over to Linux and see if I can get it all to work nicely. ...as soon as I finish a complete PT of the DragonAges.

i really love samevile :) i was born and raised in florida, and the whole thing feels very nostalgic and fun!! i made it the setting for my weird veronaville alternative universe stuff - (safely) putting my favorite bunch of premades within my home state teehee! i still have much to look at and explore within sameville but i am highly impressed by how high quality the whole neighborhood is and i'm so glad i've gotten the chance to play it, so thank you!

Hello! Do you know if it is possible to attach "fake" rowhouses when there is sunken area/entrance to the cellar in front of the house? I'm referring to the London style rowhouses. I've managed to build a open basement by using your GA tutorial, but cannot figure out if there's a way to attach such houses. You're such a master builder so I thought you might know. :)

Yes, the houses can be joined - with or without basements. But, I never tried to "join" the basement levels. You can't play as though they are joined, because they are 2 separate lots. So your sim can't walk down the hall to the other lot. (Know what I mean?)
