Chaotic Fanfic Rec

Today, it is not a recommendation. I am writing my first fanfic!!!

It is about a villain, who works a normal 9 to 5 at this villain organization. While, the hero is could care less about the hero team he is a part of or his supporters.

They meet as civilians and learn more about each other, but there is something evil that is happening.

Will our villain and hero find out who they other is? Can they work together? Will secrets be destory friendships or make them stronger?

Chaotic Fanfic Recommendation <3

Do you wanna read about a bard with no self preservation skills with a band of emotionally constipated wolf guys? What about platonic relationships that melt you to your absolute core? Screaming at your phone cause God will you please kiss and tell each other your big emotions?

Then I have an amazing fanfic for you, my guy. This "the way in which you talk to me (have me wishing I were gone)" by Livesinbooks. This a story of non-human Jaskier making up with Geralt after you know that and taking him to Kaer Morhen and meeting all the witchers. Then, it builds apon these relationships in stuff a fun way for the characters and the dynamics, my god the dynamics. This is such a fun story that grows and keeps you wanting more. This is about finding love in all its different forms and how to communicate in these relationships. If you have a general understand of The Witcher then you will love this canon divergence. The Geraskier is so yummy, finger licking good yummy. Jaskier is especially is most chaotic and brings everyone down with him and they find out they love his company and want geralt to lock this shit down cause Jaskier is so fluffy and good. With Ciri in this, Jaskier is already making himself #1 dad and Ciri loves it. Then, Yennefer is her badass self. The plot was not put to the side, and it entwines nicely with the characters and helps with the growth of their relationships. It feels like the author loves these characters and wants the best for them, so you. Should. Read. This. Please

This is a story about Theo and Liam, and the aftermath of Monroe's invasion. This focuses on Theo, and him trying to navigate being a teenager, who has been in a hell dimension, who has taken down so many in the McCall pack, who thinks he is a broken and useless science experiment made for disaster. Theo cares for Liam so deeply that he doesn't even realize. Theo views Liam in a light that makes Theo think he does not deserve him and will destroy him if they are together. Liam does not take this sh*t.

In the end, this is a story about finding your way in a world that seemly rejected you and you have forsaken for long time. That finding someone to make you realize you deserve to be here, and that you are cared about. It's about growing into someone you like above all else and how that takes time, but when someone you love and who loves you can makes the journey a little easier.

Do you enjoy Addams Family Aus? Do you think Addams family needs to be gayer? Do you think the Addams couple needs to have another person to obsessively love? Do enjoy 'I am just a normal guys, but my new neighbors are really scary and also like soooooo hot'??

Then, I have a fanfic for you. The Hwangddams Family by 0KKULTiC.

This is a great fanfic if you think Addams family everything needs to your otp. It is a good relationship that builds up throughout the fic in a great way that keep me coming back to read again and again. This might have Kpop idols, but I don't think it take away from the story (as someone who does not read kpop fics).

I also enjoyed the relationship built between the Ong and the children and how natural it felt to me. This felt like a family that living their life, and meant their new neighbor who they start to enjoy the company of. There is the dynamic of a 'normal' person meeting extra ordinary people and seeing them as kind, loving people they are that others can't see, and him growing into himself as he grows to this family. All that to say, this is a fic I continue to read and find something new to love each time.

Choatic Fanfiction Recommendation

How do you feel about Little Red Riding Hood? What about retelling with pop culture twist? What about BAMF red hood? Also, what if gay?

Then you will like this fanfic. This is 'The Tale of Little Red' by rainier_day. A classic fairy tale retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, but Teen Wolf version.

This is a nice story to read after you did not sleep all night reading that monster of fanfic. It is a good one-shot when you want to feel comfy after you read all that angst. This is one of my favorite comfort fics that I go back to again and again as it is a quick, easy read that leaves me feeling satisfied.

This fic sits at 288 kudos, 35 bookmarks, and 3476 hits.

Do you like multiple ships in one fic? Do you like anime boys living their lifes after the anime is over? Do you like dumb basketball boys not understanding love/emotions?

Then, hypebeayst's 'I need you (to come get me)' is the fanfic for you.

This is Kuroko no Basket multiship fanfiction that takes place a few years after the anime. The characters are not much older, so they still the no brain basketball we all know and love.

This have KagaKuro, Midotaka, KiseKasa, and MuraMuro in all in established relationships. How they are dealing with having a long distance relationship and the struggles that come with it. Like any long distance relationship, there is some angst, but in the end it all works itself out to get beautiful fluff.

This is a good fic to read if you think, 'man this basketball boys are really gay and they should be friends who talk about how gay they are with each other'. It has a good wholesome feel, while also having more real world struggles that grounds in reality because you feel sympathy with this character. All in all a good read, that wouldn't take long and make your insides feel good after consuming it, like chicken noodle soup.

Hello, do you crave fanfiction, but have no idea where to start? Do want someone to shove there Favorite fanfics down your throat and love it? Well, you came to the right place

My first recommendation is 'Of Snake Charming and Coffee' by LunarTearRose

This is an assassination class, grown up au, where Asano what's his good pals Nagisa and Karma to get together, and also pass all his classes with 0.00002 seconds of sleep.

This is good fic to see characters you love going into college with some great humor, and also romance when you least expect it. The story is very good, you can tell the author truly loves the show and what's to make a good fic. Also, I may hate going onto Rollercoaster in real life, but this fic has got a great one you can jump in and enjoy the ride.

So this OTW Election drama is getting out of hand...

I see a lot of panic and fearmongering, and I think some facts need to be stated to help put things into perspective.

The OTW, which operates AO3, has yearly elections for the Board of Directors. This is position which is occupied by SEVEN PEOPLE total. You can see the members of the current board here: https://www.transformativeworks.org/board-directors/

The entire Board of Directors works together to oversee the OTW as a whole. They cannot and also do not oversee the details of day-to-day operations, such as your tags being wrangled, or keeping track of donations, or responding to support tickets, or keeping the servers working, etc. (https://elections.transformativeworks.org/what-the-board-does/)

Therefore, ONE person being elected to the Board will not be able to completely shift the direction and goals of the OTW as a whole. You would need a 4 person majority at the very least, and the maximum number of seats up for election in any year is usually 3.

The requirements for running for the Board are fairly simple: 9 months in the previous year as a volunteer (everyone in the OTW, including Board members, are volunteers), not being in the Elections committee, being a legal adult, and being a paying member (basically the same as being a voter in the election). There is no nomination process or any sort of internal popularity contest at play here. Any views being expressed by a candidate therefore doesn't mean anything about the OTW's culture internally as a whole.

There is a period of time before the election where all eligible voters get emails at the same email address they will send the ballots to, with instructions to a mock-up page of the ballot so that people can work out technical issues if needed. People who need accommodations for any reason are also able to request them during this period weeks before the election. So asking for a "tech testing" period before the election happens is... pointless. It's already there!

Asking for more "screening" of candidates is reasonable on the surface, but the truth is, it could be ripe for abuse by people in charge of the process. Sure, perhaps the people who put these rules into place won't use the process badly, but who's to say nobody will ever be tempted to do so? It could lead to a Board and Elections Committee that works together to keep new ideas and changes in the OTW from ever coming to fruition. Just imagine the Board of Directors we hate in movies: old white men in suits who never want anything to change, and only let in people who are just like them. Also -- the reason we have elections AT ALL is so everyone gets a voice in how the OTW will run.

This isn't like the US Election (or British, or wherever you are) where your vote is one drop in an ocean of millions. The OTW and AO3 are actually not that big in the wider world, and that means each vote counts more. Also, the ranked voting system means peoples' votes can count towards their second- or third-favourite candidate, or so on. It's not all or nothing here!

I know a lot of people are worried seeing what seems like anti views coming from "within" the OTW itself, but it is still one person out of hundreds. People are always going to have varying opinions; the GOOD thing is that people are voting against opinions that they don't agree with. That means the voting process is working.

There is a conversation to be had, perhaps, about changing some policies and requirements for candidates and members future elections. But right now? Breathe.

There is no risk of the AO3 censoring and banning fic overnight, even if you personally cannot vote this year. After all, the candidates weren't revealed until after everyone donated, and we know antis would never give AO3 their money.

(And for the conspiracists out there: ballot-stuffing is not 100% impossible, but EXTREMELY UNLIKELY. You would need to have paid 10$ donations for HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of fake people (which is $$$$) months in advance and also set up hundreds/thousands of email accounts for all these fake people, or for real people with nefarious aims. The reason we know the moon landing wasn't faked is because that many people could not have realistically kept a secret for that long. We would have heard whispers about it. The same applies here. This entire debacle came out of left field over the course of a few days!

And all that work, for ONE member who can't unilaterally change anything? Please.)

AO3 donators, it’s voting time. And one particular candidate not only doesn’t understand AO3 on a fundamental level (somehow, despite being a tenured user and an unfortunate volunteer) but actively wants to push censorship. They are the exact kind of person we don’t need involved with OTW or AO3 for that matter. The same kind of person we have to actively fight against like, all the time. I frankly don’t know how the hell they even became a volunteer but, anyway. Got vote for people who won’t actively work to destroy it.
