mike cogan describing ice in the top gun novelization: he was tall and blond, like a large banana smoothie. his hair was immaculate, frosted at the ends and perfectly combed like he’d stood in front of a mirror and ordered it to stand at attention.
he had a pair of piercing ice-blue eyes, as clear and cold as a frozen lake on a winter’s day. his gaze was intense; when he looked at me, it felt like he was staring directly into my very soul. it was almost enough to make me astral project out of my own body.
his cheekbones could have been sculpted from marble. they were leveled high on his chiseled face, flattering his flawless tanned complexion. his lips were also flawless, because everything about him was flawless. his chest was hairy and his abs were toned. i had never seen a more toned pair of abs before.
he was, to summarize, a god among men, and i wanted him. i wanted him so bad it made me look stupid.
mike cogan describing mav in the top gun novelization: he’s a bit of a scrunkly looking guy, honestly. he’s kind of ugly in a way, but also cute at the same time. and when he smiles his face scrunches up like a cheeseburger lol :)
