he's getting braver. his sphere of comfort now includes my room which is next to the computer room so he'll go back and forth between the two

he's still hissing at Ollie and has batted at him a couple times, but no out and out aggressive swipes. him and the other cats are still avoiding each other, but they just need to get comfortable with him being here. it was just Kombat and Midnight for the longest time as the only cats, now we have Shadow

I let him know that if he mashes his face into my face, he's gonna get kissed. or even just randomly, I'm gonna smooch him on the head. he's perfectly fine with this

a coworker reached out to me a couple weeks back and asked if I knew anyone that would be able to take in her sisters' void cat, Shadow. Circumstances beyond their control arose and she could no longer keep him. I asked her how he was with other cats and dogs, letting her know that I could take him (after I discussed it with Morgan) or at the very least, foster him until we found a better home.

apparently I was the first and only person she thought of when the situation came up. she knew I loved animals and that I would be a perfect home for him, just based on the tiktoks I've posted of Ollie and my void kitty, Midnight.

so now I have a Shadow and Midnight. Shadow is currently decompressing in the computer room with Morgan and he's already punched me in the face with his face.

...although we may need to get different colored collars for the two void babies because dear gawd, Shadow is Midnight's twin.

If I were to ever seriously write a Syverson/Destiny 2 thing (I mean, I won't because no one would fucking read it), my Hunter would be wearing basically this:

I have it in the singular thing I wrote on it that she shows up "in spectacular fashion". She's a Stasis hunter and while yes, I know it's not ice, it's crystallized Darkness, Silence and Squall is a fucking traveling blizzard that freezes things solid and makes them shatter. So it's like...

Shit went pear shaped for a patrol and all of a sudden the temperature plummets, they can see their breath, and my Hunter shows up, flinging blades that ricochet and freeze the enemies solid and make her go invisible.

"Did they just go invisible? I wanna go invisible!"

"Stow it!"

And she jumps up into the air, flings a scythe that when it hits the ground creates a blizzard that goes through the enemy forces, freezing them, again, solid, and shatter into itty bitty pieces.

So apparently some people new to Tumblr think a repost and a reblog are the same thing, so when they see creators asking for people to not repost, they're thinking the creators are saying to not reblog 😭

Y'all, a repost is when you copy/download the work and create a new post using the work making it seem as if it's yours. A reblog is you using a site provided feature to share the creator's post directly from the creator so that it's still credited to them and they still get all of the traction/notes from the work.

Please, reblog fics/art/etc. that you enjoy! Reblogging is not reposting! Creatives need support too, and reblogging is a way to do that!
