See, this is why I love Cissie. So many vigilantes have the whole “struggling with my inner darkness” schtick. So many characters will cross a line, vow never to do it again, and then keep doing it again because they won’t fucking quit the hero gig.

Cissie, though? She knows herself. She crossed the line, and she said “never again,” and she meant it. She’ll still defend herself in an emergency, but she knows she doesn’t have the control to be Arrowette anymore. She stepped away and stood by that decision and I respect the FUCK out of it.
