Mostly Axes Femme haul.

I picked up my parcel from Japanese auction sites today. In another order, I brought an Axes Femme cardigan on an impulse. It turned out to be so soft and nicely detailed, that I wanted to pick up more of their items for casual outfit days. And their other clothes didn’t disappoint.

They are also a lot cheaper that lolita clothes, the most I spent on any of these blouses was 600 yen. The only disappointment was that the bottom right blouse looked black and white, but turned out to be brown and white. I may sell it on, or I might try to dye it.

I also picked up some cheaper lolita items. The JSK was 5000 yen, and it’s from Innocent World. If anyone knows what the name of it is, please send me a message, I’d love to know. It’s also a bit too short, but works for casual wear.

I used Japonica Market for this. They take a commission based on the winning price of the auctions, which in hindsight meant it would have been more economically to buy lots of multiple blouses rather than individual auctions. They had good communication, however, in the past I have had trouble with them misplacing an item in their office. They also send a small gift with this order (a Disney face cloth). So altogether a positive experience.

Anyway TLDR Axes Femme has cute items at a reasonable price, would recomend

Best of Bodyline (IMO)

Recently I’ve been selling off almost all of my Bodyline main pieces. Although I liked them, there wasn't anything I really loved. With space limited in the new flat, I’m keeping only a few. 

I also can’t justify buying anything else from them with the rising prices, some of my favourite brand dresses I brought second hand for less than current Bodyline.

However, some of the clothes were really good quality, and I’m making a list of the ones I would recommend to people (click the bold names for store links)

L325 Skirt - Best item I brought from Bodyline, it’s staying in my closet (although I believe it’s a design replica)

L353 Skirt - A bit flimsier, and the ribbon could use replacing, but a solid wardrobe filler for classic/ gothic. I’m keeping one of mine, although bear in mind, the black is a different and worse fabric.

l379 JSK - Great fabric, but is quite short. Bust area can be a bit tube like.

L087 OP - Another case of bad stock picture, this dress is not shiny at all and has soft lace. Also is quite long.

L066  OP - This OP is made of very soft fabric, and with good lace.

Hyper Japan was great, but the venue was not as good as last year. It got very hot, and the queues were really long, especially for the toilets in the hour break (at least half an hour wait) Still, I had a good time, the food and entertainment was better than last year, and I'm planning on going to the Christmas market.

Ticket booked for Hyper Japan next month. I’m super excited as it will mark a year since I first had the confidence to wear lolita fashion outside. 

I really think wearing this fashion has helped me become more confident as a person this last year.

Metamorphose Cross Embroidery Op

It’s been a little while since I posted something on here. Last few weeks I’ve been sorting out living arrangements, I’m hoping to be moving to a new city later this year. I’ve also been reorganising my wardrobe, an selling off some of my dresses that didn’t really suit me.

Recently I’ve realised that I want to move away from classic towards a more gothic look. Went on a bit of splurge with the money from the sold dresses, and these beauties are on their way (meta skirt will be the mini one). Unfortunately these will be the last lolita main pieces I can buy for a long while, so I’m going to take lots of detail shots once they get here.
