In art, morality is nonsense, in practice it is immoral, in people it is a disease.

Stary Klasztor, Wroclaw, Poland
February 24, 2019
Laibach - The Sound of Music Tour 2019
"While we waited for the show to start – in a dimly lit, smoke-filled club with huge chandeliers – we could hear the “sounds of nature”, cows, pigs, chickens, etc. For about half an hour or so. Then the lights went out and only dark blue background lights were directed at the stage. The very first song, “The Sound of Music”, set the atmosphere that is omnipresent on the album – a grotesque, contradictory, slightly absurd mix of innocent musical and farce. What is especially noticeable is the vocal duet of Fras and Mårtensson – the former a husky, dark version of a devilish quality, the latter an angelic, beautiful, crystal clear purity. Of course, one cannot perceive the album without taking into account its context – the same goes for the concert, the associated visuals and performances. Musically, one cannot help but appreciate the skill and precision of the performances, the theatricality and focused effect achieved by the artists. The moments when Marina sang in the darkness, illuminated only by a golden light that made her hair glow like a torch, or the duets that were the elegance of musical technique, were perfect examples of LAIBACH's refinement and virtuosity."

Ode to RZK-III
“I think there’s a live feel to this guitar. It kind of wants to be played harder than other guitars. It has a kind of ‘make it play’ mentality. It wants to be played hard. It’s not a jazz guitar; it wants to be played with riffs. It has an attitude. At least that’s how I perceive it.”

A small, but very important stage in the life of Richard Kruspe.
"It was a time of rebellion, when punk bands suddenly came together. Punk came to Schwerin relatively late. Anyone who wanted to make music in the East needed a degree. The idea that you just pick up a guitar and start playing - that took some getting used to at first. In First Arsch we were messing around and letting out emotions. Till on drums and I on guitar went on stage without rehearsing. I don't even know if it was music at all, but the audience thought it was super cool. Because it was just different. Liberation from the state and society."

“When I was a kid, I used to say, ‘I’m going to be a rock star.’ People always told me I was making it up. But I always believed it, and that’s the most important thing: to believe.
You just have to be sure that you’re going to play a certain role in life, and then you start to notice certain signs of destiny and you start to live in that role. And that’s okay.
That’s how a certain dream is born and grows in certain people. A dream wants to be dreamed of. A dream has a lot in common with a dream.
If you start to doubt it, you notice that there is no dream. Sometimes it’s just important to let people dream…” Richard Z. Kruspe
Happy birthday to the guy who decided to make money selling guitars and turned into one of the best guitarists and a guy who designs his own guitars.🍾🎂❤️🔥

Some press reviews of Till Lindemann's performance at Graspop Metal Meeting 2025.
Nieuwsblad.be
"Till Lindemann ended Graspop as only he can. With absurdity, dead fish and circus."
"While he's become a pyromaniac with Rammstein (he's a certified pyrotechnician), he's less concerned with fire and a bit more eco-friendly as a solo artist. Present: a dead fish during Fish on. Yes, he quickly threw it back into the audience. To reach a little further, he even pulled out a gun. There's only one crazy person who's gotten away with it, and that's a 62-year-old German."
It might seem surprising that Graspop programmed this Till Lindemann as the festival's final act.
Rammstein is an established name, super popular. Lindemann's solo is a different beast in many ways.
Somewhat lesser-known repertoire, more explicit, less subtly playing on lust and fetishism.
But for Graspop, his solo project is essentially a new name. Still, that hasn't stopped people from descending on the Scandinavian scene to see the German at work."

Till Lindemann at Graspop: If only he could censor the weak points of his concert.
"Two years ago, Till Lindemann bombarded the Lotto Arena with nudity and violent videos, but he saved them for Graspop. So it had to come from his music, and it's still a shadow of what he does with Rammstein."
This "CENSORED" sign is rather pathetic on Lindemann's part, considering he tailored his act for the festivals themselves. It's also astonishing that the organization only announced it on the day of the festival, while some of the audience probably gloated over their Teutonic favorite's bloody festival all weekend."
As an artist, Lindemann remains unrivaled, if only because of the way he strides around with his arms raised during "Praise Abort," as if to say, "I'm not going to let myself be locked in someone's music box for the rest of my life."

No vaginas, but dead fish and all sorts of nonsense: Till Lindemann presents the musical Graspop without sex.
Stijn Van Hove 23-06-25
"Thanks to the 18+ label of his solo show, which unfortunately did not pass the Graspop test. No pissing vaginas on the screens, and where his penis would normally appear in full LED glare, there was a big sign: "Censored."
"The microphone turned out to be the most revealing instrument. Because in contrast to the controversial images, his desires and sexual appetite came out hard and for an hour without a filter. In often powerful songs and somewhere between devilish and monkish laughter. Although the best joke actually came out unintentionally. Earlier in the show, "Praise Abort" had already been played, but when the screens switched back to "CENSORED" for "Ich Hasse Kinder", Graspop could no longer hold back his laughter. Lindemann did not shock, but he charmed."

WRT NTS
No nudity, but fresh fish in the hall: this is how the scandalous Till Lindemann closes Graspop.
Kirsten Sokol
"Till automatically adapts his actions when he plays at the festival. We didn't ask him to do it explicitly. He's not crazy," Graspop organizer Peter Van Geel told VRT NWS."
"Till knows he's not playing a closed gig for an adult audience at Graspop. He's playing a festival where there might be young people. That's why he's bringing a censored show that's probably going to be pretty good."
"To compensate for the lack of visual effects, the audience sees a theatrical storyteller in the person of Lindemann, who ver"y expressively tells ambiguous texts.

Till with Chris Caffery from Savatage band, Graspop Metal Meeting, Dessel, Belgium, 22-06-2025 @ chriscafferyofficial
"Rarely do I have not much to say… With this post it is exactly that. So much respect. So much admiration. I had never met him but he made me feel at home in his world and that my friends is so special. When someone you idolize meets you this way, it not only makes you happy but it is a lesson…Around the time Savatage paused you saw Rammstein start to take over the world. Hopefully now you can see Till and Savatage at more festivals and shows in the future! Thank you Graspop for bringing us back thank you again Til Lindemann the hospitality!"
