how tf do people on this website remember who their mutuals are. when i had less followers it was easy bcz i would just scroll thru that list to see if a blog was there, but now thats not practical so i just have to REMEMBER? i know of maybe 5 people who are definitely mutuals with me, i know i def have way more because i follow back ppl who follow me rlly often but IDK WHO THEY AREEEE

One thing I really like about Fantasy High -- and honestly Dimension 20/Brennan characters in general -- is that even the good parents are not perfect. Sandralynn is easily frustrated, especially when Fig reminds her of herself. Jawbone doesn't always know how to back off and meet people where they're at. The Thistlesprings have terrible boundaries and are deeply uncomfortable with negative emotions. In Burrow's End, Tula is constantly grappling with the urge to limit her children's options due to her own fear.

The experience of having Good Parents isn't that you get your needs met perfectly 100% of the time -- it's the experience of having one or more deeply flawed adults doing their level best to do right by you in spite of whatever shit they have going on in their own lives and psyches. And that's beautiful in its own right.

he did make me dislocate my finger last weekend but i forgive him

ive been house training cosmo (my dog) because my parents gave up on him and told me theyd pay me to try. he is 3 years old and has not been house trained that entire time because hes “too stupid” but of course as soon as i started doing it he’s doing amazing and hasnt had an accident in days. my parents are so mean to him but the singular positive thing about that is they did say when i move out i can take him with me :) gen dont know what i would do if i had to leave him here, hes my baby
