Students of Std 8B conducted a classdebate on ‘Advantages and Disadvantages of Television.’ for their English FA Activity. While some students strongly believed that TV deteriorates the mind, others thought it is a necessity for daily life recreation and education.Mrs. Neepa Gajjar, English Teacher, said, "This debate helped the students to be confident, improve their language and learn public speaking skills.”
Muskan Khazanchi, standing for the debate said, "Television is a stress buster for people. The educational channels like national geographic, discovery and animal planet inspires us to learn about the world. TV is also one of the most effective means of recreation and education in the remote villages of the country. On the other hand, Kavya Singh, stood against the notion, "TV is a nuisance for people. Humanity and sensitivity has taken a back seat and TV has become a game of TRP ratings. The programmes have become crude and violent and less educative. It kills the imagination and creativity and adversely affects physical health.”
A healthy debate helps the students to think for themselves, be confident and have opinions on a subject. Holding on to ones opinion while respecting the other's point of view makes them well rounded leaders and citizens of the country.

All children need is a little help, a little hope, and somebody who believes in them. :) We recognize that each child is unique and deserves special care. Whenever our kids are confused, feel disappointed, or doubt their capabilities, we are always present, like a rock, to support them. Sometimes we act like a mirror to show them their true worth. This colorful chart outside our kindergarten class displays the list of powerful affirmations for our kids to always remember ♥♥♥♥♥ #ccis_2016 #kindergarten #kidsareunique #colorfulboards #studentsareawesome #ahmedabad #gujarat #educationforall (at Cosmos Castle International School)

Quote
I’ve noticed something about people who make a difference in the world: They hold the unshakable conviction that individuals are extremely important, that every life matters. They get excited over one smile. They are willing to feed one stomach, educate one mind, and treat one wound. They aren’t determined to revolutionize the world all at once; they’re satisfied with small changes. Over time, though, the small changes add up. Sometimes they even transform cities and nations, and yes, the world.
